R1: Happy to go No11 Seven No Trumps EW again. Looks to be a good speed early, i see a slow run home time again and hopefully this time goes one better.

R2: Unfortunately missed the value on the 2 and 3 early so resort to backing the best horse and hope they run it in a suitable way to get in to it - that being No8 Montana Glory.

R3: Looks like we are going to get tripple figures the win double figures the place JayJay's horse No11 Awaiting Instructions. There are far worse 1w4plc ratio bets to have than it. Straight to 3 back the pegs behind a couple of good ones, definitely gets its chance to run into the money and could be a massive boost for the novelties.

R4: No4 Paul Edward plc heavy. You would have to say he was disappointing last start dropped off and passed when trailing Ardiebytheseaside but that was off a week back up, two weeks between runs this time and seems to go better off at least that gap i'm happy to be on thinking he does nothing early and zaps home.

R5: Opposed to seemingly the more common thought I feel Aardie is way tok short here. I was extremely confident that Talks up a storm could cross if if they intended too. Market sauggesting there will be no intent but i will probably back the drift No3 Talsk Up A Storm once it hits double figures.

R6: No2 Marbeechsam. Just sit off the the 1 and the 2 and zap them late. Im Eugine looks a beautiful style of horse for WA racing but the 1 has gate speed as well and i'm just happy to take on the NR50 form in a race I dont think it's a giventhat it leads and there should be a more than handy horse close by to threaten late.

R7: No7 Feeling Aces 1by4. Trying to workout what leads of the front and to me they are all ok not brilliant. So not be able to decide there i'm thinking maybe Feeling Aces with his Usual brilliant begining can get up on the pegs inside a few of them early, it's $1.02 for me that there will be some dropping off in the moving line late and he will get some gaps to close off.

R9: No5 More Sass - fitter for the run, drive patient, go back, track the fave and dive bomb it late.

Hopefully the weather can turn late like yesterday so I can have the 35 bets i've talked myself in to.

    Good luck all.

Chillin beat the handicapper on the short turnaround from Tuesday. Seems an out and out stayer, just kept going, tough win.

I made the mistake of thinking Ratllin Lilly was done on straightening. A mare beats the boys from barrier 9 at GP doing it hard. You don’t see that often.

Any danger that in the stands they might let the runners face forward before they release the strands??
That wasnt a standing start it was a dizzy whizzy start.

Nice win by (according to the HRA results) the 4 year old FILLY Aardiebytheseaside.

It also seems many stables and owners have undergone an arbitary colours change by RWWA....Scott, Inwood and Stanley now all racing in red with the white sash, many others are now racing in the "All white"... K.Prentice, Voak, Lewis and M.Lindau and many others just wrong.

My pink colour is now a well washed pale shade, multiple spots have been added and if anyone finds the black sleeves laying around, drop me a message.

Can't access replays on the HRA site using either firefox or explorer browser. Good news is the new Racing WA site has got the replays but the August Cup replay is actually race 9 from Albion Park.

No biggee but just an indication of a careless poorly managed organisation that operates at a level of sloppiness that would hitherto have not been tolerated.

Doesnt matter because you made the effort to put those tips up  , and you gave reasons why you thought they would win , fwiw got no interest in anybodys tips unless they give reasons why you think they can win or run a bold race , then you can look at them and see if you agree with that thought process

As for race colours , yes owners are important because they are important because they pay the bills , With Qld and Vic their bread and butter races , or maybe the most of them , the driver irrespective of the stable ( colours ) he wears his colours , so it all about promoting the driver , so say Pete McMullen wears his colours in all races - they were doing that , been a bit busy the last couple of mths and havent watched much interstate pacing

I do agree dirty colours are not a good image , i was at Moonee Valley  one night many years ago and " Black Jack " - John Caldows father was having 1 of his drives , they were based in Mildura then , and he is the main parade ring in the cart , and this bloke yelled over the top of everyone , gee Jack those colours could do  with a decent wash couldnt they , everyone roared laughing , thats when race tracks had a bit of atmosphere - hah
