Half way done in the RSM classic and Denny is 8 shots back. He has showed some good and bad, probably expected first up after a spell. He'll need a miracle to win from here and is 100s now.
In the Australian PGA, it is now down to 54 holes with the last round on Sunday. Cam Smith leads with Elvis Smylie at -10 with a host trying to run them down. Smith learnt a bit from last year I reckon, he came into this event underdone and missed the cut. This year he has played a couple.of lead ups, the qld PGA one of them, and has finished 3rd and 2nd the last few weeks.
I think he wins tomorrow and then completes the Open double.
Denny just plodding. Finished at -5 after round 3, a while 9 shots back from Whaley and McNealy.
Unbelievable to see Daniel Berger, who couldn't do a thing last week when I was onboard, play out of his skin, is only 2 back and will probably win to stick the knife in me.
Berger finishes T2 behind McNealy by just 1 shot, after missing a host of short chances down the stretch. Holes 15 and 16 were the worst with misses of 3 foot 8 and 7 foot 10 It was a case of who was trying to lose it, with a 4 way tie at 15 under and everyone's putter went cold. McNealy finally stuffed it to 5 feet on the last hole and made the putt to win for the first time on tour in 141 starts.
That concludes the fall swing with the Hero World Challenge in two weeks.
Looking forward to the Australian Open this week then an extended break over Xmas and New Year!
Had'nt heard of Elvis before this Tournament , Not a bad handle for a kid to have , must have got a bit of stir as a schoolkid . Now as a Pro Golfer wont have any problem getting women , plus sponsors . Elvis Smylie - name hard to forget once your've heard it
Bomber , whats your opinion of Elvis .Can he make World Top 10 in next 10 years or just live the absolute dream playing everywhere mixed in the top 1000 pros making top coin.

He is 10 under through 14 holes today after making an Albatross on 14!
Ciganda absolutely set the course alight overnight, shooting a Saturday 65 and takes a 4 shot lead into the final round.
In Australia, Cam Smith is out of it.
However, I'm sweating Niemann in the blokes and Green and Buhai in the women in some trebles I've heard across the three tournaments (with Ciganda). After a slow start, defending champ Niemann went berserk yesterday and shot round of the day to be only 2 back, while Hannah Green made a late double bogey to be also 2 back. Double defending champ Buhai rallied on Saturday to be only 2 back of Green as well.
Be nice to see Ciganda go on with it and the trebles would be icing.
Morikawa continues to score well, finishing the day at -15 and a 64 to be only one back from Hideki. Lots of golf left but in a great spot. He leads the field in greens in regulation and after yesterday's bogey free round has the leading number of bogey free rounds around the Plantation course.
Morikawa and Matsuyama going blow for blow in round 3, both shooting 11 under 62 to clear out from the rest of the field. Hideki maintains his lead by 1 over Morikawa.
The course was soft and there was no wind and was duly taken apart by most of the field. A good last round coming up, hopefully Collin can get it done this time!
Morikawa falls just short from Matsuyama, 3 shots the difference in the end. Hideki, shoots an unbelievable -35 and a new scoring record. He just could not miss with the putter and also holed out from 110 yards for an eagle and unfortunately for Collin, it was a bridge too far after a single bogey early on.
Nice to get a run for the money. This week they head to Oahu for the Sony and seeing Hideki as favorite will not surprise.
The new TGL indoor league is starting tomorrow. 6 teams will play indoor golf. Worth checking out on Kayo with plenty of info available about it, looks like a lot of tech involved. I'll give it a chance
Boston Common is my pick to win the whole lot. 5 units at $7. Boston Commons team consists of Keegan Bradley, Rory, Hideki and Adam Scott.
As predicted, Hideki the $10 fav. Surely he can't win two weeks in a row. It seems the new putter has worked for him. I like a couple down the board as a first look
Russell Henley. Love's the Hawaii swing and got touched off by Hideki a couple seasons back. $23
Tom Hoge. When he gets hot, he can string birdies galore together. He played well enough at Sentry and don't mind home at $51.
2 units here spread across these prices netts around 40 units return.
