Very good result, got a collect and got to see that at this stage the horse needs everything going its way to be competitive.

Rarely would listen to twitter but have it on in the car tonight, geez Jnr has just declared classic Choice - driven half the card and yet you still get upwards of $4 on it!.

Trying to watch GP on Sky, the buzzing from the broadcast is annoying. Like trying to watch the rumble in the jungle from Africa all those decades ago

Velocipede - from the family of Dainty’s Daughter. So that’s about 50 years and that line is still producing good horses (including Jumbo Operator), pretty amazing.

And Kudos to the Treasure family (and Harper) re win with Starlight Dream whom they bred also out of their good mare Dreams Daughter. Last nights win resembled many of the wins of Dreams Daughter, one of the fastest horses that I have seen with respect to its point to point speed (by Crouch).
Plenty to look forward to with respect to mares racing in the next few months. Will be interesting to watch Starlight Dreams progression.

Reinette, same family as the unfortunately named Velocipede's family, very closely related.

Wow. Just reading about Daintys Daughter , won the Fremantle Cup at the age of 7. We are lucky to see a mare in a free for all these days, let alone a 7 year old. Hopefully this current group changes that.

When the Bookmakers had stands made in the colours of past champions I chose Daintys Daughter for mine.
