Here we go again. Got off very lightly.

The owners have to refund the prizemoney. Any on the forum as I know there are connections?

Pity punters don't get their collects if drug induced horse in effect is a non runner.

Never been a Durrant fan since he took over after father Geoff's disqualification. Durrant junior for quite a few years had an unbelievable record reaching around 30% win rate and multiple horses having a picket fence of wins. Win rate today is about half that.

Oh and then there was the Melbourne Cup carnival affair.

Two words. Leopards..Spots.
+1 -1

What about that sudden long vacation overseas? His training results have never been the same since.

Using a sedative to get some shoeing done. Don’t think he is the only trainer that’s done it . Agree with Damien

Farriers don't like sedation because the horses lean on them instead of supporting them selves.

What about when farrier’s doTucool. Horses that are nutters to shoe keep pulling away trying to kick all the time while having their backs done i am sure you have seen some absolute mongrels as have i come shoeing time. think the farrier would have little objection if suggested by the trainer

Report said Inadvertently given,so by mistake,
No shoeing involved at the time.
Surely, who ever gave it to the horse, should of noticed a change in the horses behaviour.
What was the horse supposed to get?
How long does Xylazine stay in the system?
Plus, thought Xylazine was a prescription drug.

Cage doesn't need to be rattled if inhabitant doesn't draw attention to it
