Going well! Def seems a bit disrespected in the market.

Spinking, so there is no misunderstanding, I prefer a WA horse to win these higher profile local events because most of the Interstate horses are not aimed at WA it's just an afterthought with some of the runners just second raters.

The last high quality horse to walk onto a WA track as a visitor was Takeover Target. That was because his Trainer/Owner loved travelling had an experience of a lifetime with that horse that Ascot was fortunate to see.  Beating a truly good horse in Apache Cat in a head bobbing finish was by far and away the best that race has seen.

The race has been nowhere close to that 2008 edition and that is largely due to the failure to keep what was a Gr2 now a weak Gr1 stacked with a decent field.
