Well done Gilgamesh . Some astute form analysis there. Hope you didn’t invest to much of it on WGold in the last. . Any crowd numbers released. I have heard upwards of 9000 can anyone confirm

Cannot confirm numbers but I was there and the crowd was big as usual on one of our elite days

Be frustrating but rewarding at he same time owning the old warrior Comfort Me second 3 times in the race. Surely his time is running out to go one better. Magnificent campaigner. All connected with him must look forward to railway day. Hopefully he goes round again next year . Would really like to see him rewarded for consistency

James Oldring from Perth Racing was heard to express disappointment that the crowd was 8,000 only. Now that may or may not be accurate as it came from Members who were leaving the course as Oldring doesn't speak to the media except in the hallowed halls of Racing Radio where all interviews are softball setups.

If it was 8,000 they should be celebrating that, that is a very good crowd as an actual crowd of 5,000 at Ascot is barely comfortable.

No mention of horses that pulled up lame from the Railway. Some went around like **** tourists.

i reckon it was at least 8000...
i made a few racegoers happy..i went to buy an orange drink..went to pay and found out i had 50 buck birthday credit. am not going next week so went over to the big bar where a couple of guys were buying drinks, paid for them then 2 girls who were very grateful..one gave me a kiss...i felt really good that i did not just let the credit lapse.
pity the Punting God did not see my good deeds.

If a horse ever deserved a win on Saturday it would have been Comforet Me, so honest , but just as deserving was Aztec Ruler, very surprised it got out to the price it did.

Gilga has long been my fav contributor and tipster on the pacing front but Saturday he tipped brilliantly at the races. Who do you think you are Gilga? ME? :))   Some of my form from the past that may be  ;))

$50 bucks for a kiss Falcon. That is huge value in your world. It should have been a french kiss for that price but then that would have set tongues wagging  :)) :)) :))

Trix is a good each way chance Buddy.

One well backed at odds so far is Port Lockroy 18s to 8s
$18 into $8 is not 18s into 8s its actually 17s into 7s. Like $2 isnt 2s, its evens and $3 is 2s. But was a good bit of advise by you and well found. And some $13 on Betfair was good.

Stating the obvious there Vampire Slayer.

There are probably some of my vintage that prefer the original price to your unit ie 16 to one or 16/1 and the total including your unit in this case 17 is a bit deceptive.

Yeah. Just saying. $6 is not 6s. Some commentators, including Darren, refer to the $ price incorrectly. On the bookies boards if yo had a dollar on at 6/1, which was referred to as 6s, you got $7 back. Its obvious to you and me that $6 is not 6s but 5s or 5 to one but it appears the young brigade dont understand.
