Labour have to go early because they are screwed and it can only get worse for them the longer they leave it and as they can't clash with WA election I predict Feb 15th or 22nd.

It doesn't matter when it is held as they are in for a thrashing. No party can boast Each Way Upgrade Albasneezy, Penny Anti Always Wrong, Bozo the Clown Bowen, Jim the Snake Chalmers, What a Dick Marles and Tony The Burke and be a great representation for Australia. Not to forget as a party they are Anti Jewish people pieces of crap.

A mob of twats and tossers who have worsened the life and cost of living of near enough most Australians.

The worst government in Australian history. Worse than Whitlam and god that is saying something.

Whether you hate Albo or whether you hate Morrison or Dutton or whoever, my view is go and post political stuff elsewhere, there is no place for this on PTT in any category. There are plenty of forums available to express personal political views, this isn't one of them. The post should be taken down in my opinion.

    I appreciate your reply.

Politics is now a punting medium and the USA election thread was initiated back in February and led to healthy discussion from both sides including from yourself which doesn't equate to your opinion above.

I look forward to hopefully regular updates on bookie prices which were a good feature on that previous thread.

  • JayJayJayJay    8,085 posts
Politics is a betting medium, I agree, and the USA Election thread was patronised by those wishing to bet on the outcome.

There were 14 or 15 pages of contributions. I contributed just two times amongst probably many hundreds of posts, one a post about the horrendous gun control situation involving the sanctioned murder of kids in schools, something I can't fathom, and another one line post of attempted humour (Did Donald duck?) with a play on words.

I'll pass one final comment.....the USA election is external to Australia and involved a generational moron versus an old chap clearly suffering from mental degradation prior to him being subbed out. I understand the interest and the betting fluctuations that played out over many months. We have not got an election date as yet, neither of our leaders are either generational morons or suffering from dementia. As stated yesterday, they don't hate each other in spite of ideological differences.

If and when an election is called, I'd expect commentary on the market. Your post contained no commentary on betting or market fluctuations or predictions. It was just an offensive name calling pie throwing exercise, an expression of your political affiliations and I stand by my view that it has no place on this forum. Many will probably disagree with me, that's okay and nothing knew, but we live in a democracy and that is what I think.

My post was a forecast on the election date..... Plus everything you mentioned in your critique  :D

A good source (perhaps) informs me I have predicted too early and it is more likely to be March 22 or 29.

Yep , were going to have an election fought out by very probably the 2 most hated leaders in the 2000s and theres been plenty of candidates in between. Labors national vote hovering around 30% and the LNP in the high 30s means prefences the big factor in a win for each . Greens will vote to a man and women against Dutton. Betfair got LNP in front at this moment . One of Labors biggest concerns to plenty of their followers is their Leaders tend to become insanely wealthy . Whitlam , Hawke , Keating , Rudd , Albo . Christ Hawkey had interests in over 100 racehorses ffs .If LNP had any other leader than Dutton they'd be $1.01 as Albo is that unpopular .

Christ Albos there for the taking right now , ready to be butchered . Making stupid election losing f**kups time after time . Turning Labor into a Islamic Party in time . He would have been rolled by now if anyone but Dutton was the Opposition Leader .

I've never heard anyone left leaning say good things about a Liberal opposition leader unless they were doing badly in the polls.
They called "Little Johnny Howard" unelectable. Dutton is poised to bring down a first term government for the first time in almost 100 years. Will need a 5.5% swing which is a huge ask against a first term government. The fact he is favourite shows just how pathetic Albo's government has been.

Tories under fire bigtime in The Alice . Voted in bigtime a few months ago purely on a Heavy Law and Order Campaign and have sat on their arses and done nothing. Another political party finding out bigtime that since "The Stolen Generation Report " came out 30 years ago EVERYBODYS too scared to do anything or change childrens laws . Looks like a NIGHT CURFEW with massive numbers of patrolling Cops is the only effective way to reduce youth crime anywhere in Oz .

Where is the Indigenous leadership? Instead of banging on about voices, treaties and welcomes to country, why not foster at risk kids and get them off the streets into safe homes with decent role models.
The cycle has to be broken.

Labor now in serious desperation mode resorting to the deep nasty depths of playing the man not the ball. This rancid Labor moron mob are now in more trouble than P Diddy

Dutton the huge problem for the LNP in Victoria where they have to haul somehow back at least 8 seats to regain government . Anyone else as LNP Leader and they would be $1.01 . His biggest problem is every Green and Teal will give %100 of their preferences to any Labor candidate in Victoria . They hate Dutton more than any Politician I've ever seen . Albos hopeless but has a huge lead in seats but will govern with the greens and teals - the deals will be a nightmare for the Slipper everytime he reads the daily news .

If that is accurate then the leaders are going at it 3 months in advance which is a very long build up. I would have thought my earlier March dates were more feasible

The last thing either side wants is a long campaign. A very unimpressive bunch on both sides of the house. 3 months is far too much rope

The bit in bold of yours is nonsensical.
Voters won't give it a thought in the main.

Didn't take you long to forget Morrison either, as far as most hated is concerned!
    He should be doing life.

LNP probably wins, but it will be Albanese doing it for them, rather than Dutton.

On your rare visit to the forum (these days) you state that Morrison should be doing life. I invite you to elaborate on that sweeping character assassinating summation
  • careycarey    6,387 posts
You are not serious of course.
It does not need me; anybody with an ounce of nous would know at least some of the things he did that should see him in prison.....for life
The most corrupt piece of excrement this country has ever seen
Maybe you could read Catherine Holmes AC SC for a tidbit, or Rick Morton's book.
A pox on Labor for doing nothing about him when they should have,

  • SLIPPERGOLDENSLIPPERGOLDEN    8,089 posts
I asked you to elaborate and the best you can do is quote a couple of book titles. Not an answer.

Carey have the testicular fortitude to give the direct reasons you think Morrison should be in jail.
  • careycarey    6,387 posts
    Two simple things.....

Illegally raising debts from the most marginalised, for which he has still not been held accountable.
The job  of any government should be to try and improve the lives of the population, not illegally take money from them.
The majority never owed money, Morrison simply cooked up the scheme(with a complicit Katherine Campbell) to defraud the most disadvantaged.

The blood of all those that committed suicide(brought up in Royal Commission) as a result of those illegal debts, should haunt him, but of course, the only thing in this world that Morrison cares about is Morrison.

Being sworn into 9 ministries and withholding it from those ministers(and all his colleagues)
That should have cost Hurley his job, but then he is a piece of crap too.

First two that came to mind.

It's common knowledge that most of his colleagues thought he was a fuckwit.

We all know politicians **** all the time, but he was probably the only one that would rather tell a lie than the truth, whatever the subject.

Then I guess you could go back to very beginning and Towke.

So, I know you have read my response.
You haven't mentioned if I had the balls or not.
They may be tiny, but I bet they are bigger than yours.
I had never seen it before today after I googled looking for his achievements(that drew a blank....SFA), and have only skimmed through it, but it's impossible to tell lies how about how bad he was.
Because however bad one might think, the reality would be that he was far far worse than that.

I now realise(after my google search) that he dudded that dud Dutton too.

As much as I dislike Labor, it's rubbish to say that what they may have set up, is anything like what Morrison turned it into.

If you really were interested you would read the royal commission report.
    There's the link....

It was described in Royal Commission's report as a 'massive failure
of public administration' caused by 'venality, incompetence and
    cowardice'.
Those three words fit Morrison to a tee.

No Labor people were named, but Morrison and Roberts, Tudge & Porter were.
Robodebt and the ensuing royal commission is undoubtedly the main reason why all four of those poor excuses for decent human beings, left parliament.

One of my friends had to leave the public service because she refused to be a part of it, which is why I took so much interest in it, and added to why I despise that particular lot of Liberal arsewipes.

Carey I don't intend to keep this ongoing however if you put up Robodebt which Labor certainly contributed to. I will raise you Garrett and his bed buddies and the Pink Batts. In addition I will include the approx 900 asylum seekers on the tragic boat incident under jockey Bozo Bowen and his party as well as the damage he has done and continues to do financially, physically and emotionally with his climate change and renewable religion. How about I throw in Labour via huge money donations to UNRWA which financially rewards and supports Hamas the terrorist organisation which aligns with their anti Israel policy

Now tell me who should really be in Jail.

I will leave the discussion at that.
  • BushbookieBushbookie    298 posts
Yep Slip . I've been Labor all my life but wont be voting for them probably ever again . And it all comes down to our lack of support for Israel . Can see Australia slowly turning into Australiastan right in front of my eyes . Arab Albo and Palestine Penny are way too Anti- Semetic for me and plenty of other Non Believers but we still are extremely happy to be governed by Christian - Judean Values . Just get the feeling Albo and Penny want to add Islamic Values on too .
