Hi Chop, So what is the answer and how does one address the problem for all codes of racing...?? or do we put our hands up and say , it is what it is??

I dont have a miracle cure to the solution nor do I pretend to have one , I'm just stating the obvious that it's not just a one track or one code or one state issue, the issue is across the board

The one example of a state doing it right, I posted the path they went down to correct thing in another thread, I posted the facts and figures to back it up (because some people on this forum apparently only deal in facts and figures, funny how they went quite when the facts and figures went against there agenda) and apparently after a lengthy discussion it seemed rather than just simply agree to disagree like the adults we are I was compared to an anti vaxxing conspiracy theorist because I mean that's what adults say when we don't get on board with there view

See trials at Byford as of 1st February will be held on Saturday mornings on a 3 on 1 off basis.

This will be reviewed in March to see how effective the change is.

Think firstly, both Pinjarra and Byford should trial every week from now to at least the end of February especially since RWWA  have brought 4 feature two year old races forward  to run in conjunction with the APG sales races with the first one the Western Crown Classics on Feb.7.

Their reasoning for this decision was putting these races around the same time as APG races would benefit field sizes.

At the moment there are only 7 two year olds , Qualified to race,

Also, obviously there will be a big increase in horses trialing in the next couple of weeks which will make the move to Saturday trials at Byford look good when they review it in March.
