I remember Darren Binskin driving his first winner at Rockhampton in the late 70s .. I think it was Eva Thor , Paleface Adios was in the race also. .I dont remember them racing there since the 2000s..

I can remember Darren Binskin many many years ago , one Sat night at Newcastle , a few words were exchanged with Les Koslin - he was that local wonder trainer , use to work former broken down pacers on the beach with great results

Any how Binskin and Koslin went right  on with it , and it ended up on the grass them both having a wrestling contest , it was in the stewards report ( both got suspended ) for having a wrestling contest on the grass - hah - it brought trotting into disrepute the stewards said - hah
Back when their was abit of passion about the game, now drivers would kiss and cuddle and go to McDonalds and share a thickshake.

drivers are allowed to mates with one another off the track there only human, getting into a little cat fight on the grass at your place of work is pretty stupid and childish hardly call it passion

that's fine its your opinion your entitled to it , but for most this is there social life as well as there work life, imo nothing wrong with drivers being mates with other drivers , I think more times than not the paranoia of the punters and maybe some other participants can turn a mole hill into a mountain when it comes to what happens on the track

Do you ever notice how many times the 1st and 2nd favourite are warming up together, side by side, chatting away for 4,5,6 minutes before the race, its a great look.

by that logic the 2 best midfielders standing side by side at a centre bounce talking to each other is a bad look too ??? See the issue is that your assuming that what they are saying could be bringing the code into disrepute , to be honest i don't really notice too many 1st and 2nd favourites having a chit chat out there , I do however acknowledge that you do see alot of chit chatting out there which from memory they did try to crack down on that several years ago for the very reason your suggesting , I think off the track tho drivers are entitled to talk and be matey with whoever they want
