R7 Bunbury Well when you leave horses in the gates for 5 minutes getting nervous while you resaddle your horse that is supposed to win and does, you extinguish the chances of Hoba as they did - by design. There is also the technique of having the preferred winner enter the gates last despite being in barrier 2 or 3. Surely there is a rule that horses enter gates as numbered because leaving horses in the gates for longer is a distinct disadvantage - But punters get screwed and the desired winner wins. In the words of Alan Thomas : "Looks like the favourite missed the kick again"

Don't often play the Quad but I was so keen on Snip and Magna that I took them as stand outs for a very healthy return  \:D/ \:D/ <:-P <:-P \:D/

Fenella Martin unlucky not to get a double. Small stable and no big dollars backing her. Fenella is an underrated trainer in my opinion.

Australians all let us rejoice..... Today I certainly do...Apology for appearing so pleased   :D

what was very poor was that nothing was relayed to the broadcast so people knew what was going on it was assumed that the horse was out when the saddle came off and totally agreed very unfair to the horses that had already been loaded the fact that the one that I backed was still out of the gates when this is all going on and was given an advantage and then couldn't run in the first five tells me a lot about the horse

What was the reason for resaddling the horse or didn't they say , yes horses in gates for a long time get edgey and nervous I hate seeing races like that ,also if you were a young bloke who wanted to be a race caller there certainly is an opening there.
