Weird situation.

Money was paid to an account "they no longer have access to".

"The money has not been passed onto Symons and Laxon from the person who is now believed to operate that account."

Surely they sue the person who operates the account?

And surely they had other winners that had paid into the same account?

Something doesn't add up here.

Unbelievable to a point when they won the cup people were hoping they got paid money owed in the industry, the bank account is esprit racing who they were employed from 2014-' 2023 as trainers, who are in liquidation and say Laxon, & Simon's owe them 500k they counter claim esprit owe them 26k.

In liquidation means the liquidators will be using that money to substantiate their fat fees. That money is gone, believe me when i tell u that.

Racing Vic, here is a point - how about as part of your service, when it comes to a massive invoice ring up the recipient and confirm the bank account? Every other business in the world does it.

Just a complete **** up. 

You would think the trainers would have advised Racing Victoria of a change of bank account details. It seems very stupid that they didn't.
