i do not listen to any "tipping" bullyang. imagine following Ernie, you'd be backing pike and lucy almost exclusively..i don't think he's tipped anything over 2/1 in his life.
i look for barriers, read steward reports, judge the rider and then hope for the best...

You're best off looking at your own form really, but at least Scott Embry has a solid knowledge of WA racing. They all have good and bad runs just like we do

Terry Leighton seems to be quite astute , but I have not done any work to prove my theory.

I use to record all the tips from Racing Radio and it was a freeway to bankruptcy. If you're going to have a bet, do your own homework and you will have nobody but yourself to hold to account.

You will go broke following tipsters as they tip on every race which isn't a recipe for success.

Greg Hooper was a good tipster and very astute punter.

This is for Ascot tomorrow. I wish the information given by the tipsters is correct at least. This happens all the time!! Rubbish

In this case the horse in question ran at Ascot 8th May 2024 and ran again on 25th May 2024. Then won at Pinjarra on 25th April 2025.

    So wtf you on about?

    Scott Embry's Preview
    Picture of this meeting's expert
MASAMUNE hadn’t raced since May of 2024 when he resumed down the straight at Pinjarra and with 60kg produced one of the softest and most dominant wins of the season. He’s always shown huge ability so hopefully they can keep him in one piece and work their way through the grades.

If you are going to pot someone, at least get it right. In this instance you've just made a dick of yourself and have egg on your face.
When resuming with a dominant win on 25/4/25 it was true that Masamune hadn't raced since May 2024. So WTF are you on about?

When I saw this I could find nothing wrong and thought this person was upset that HIS horse was tipped and he didn't want that, besides that I can find nothing wrong unless we get some clarification from the poster of this comment

Ive noticed the 3 tipsters on the radio pick the same horses to win on about 6 to 7 races every meeting.

They even tip the same trifecta and 1st 4 in order for a couple of races every meeting.

Do they get together and compare their selections before they go to air?

Or are they keeping their value selections for themselves?

I think you definitely need to do your own form first but then I like to reference with the tips from people like Scott Embry and Terry Leighton.  If I really like one and they haven’t mentioned it I’m certainly not put off, I just think I’ll get an even better price.  But when I’m not confident in a race then what they say can sway me one way or another.

One thing to point out with Scotty and others who do it is they need to have their tips in for Saturday by Wednesday and then they can’t change them.  Some days you see Scotty having to tip a backmarker just as they are loading on the 7plus station when it’s obviously turned into a leader bias day, and vice versa.   I’m sure they don’t punt exactly as they have tipped for this reason so it’s not fair to just say if you followed their tips you’d be down.   No one anywhere could turn a profit punting 3 days out from the race.

Pretty rare that I agree 100% with what somebody says but I think you nailed this, especially people carrying on about these tipsters when they have their tips in 24-36 hours before a meeting goes ahead

Exactly why u are to take the tips with a grain of salt. Damn hard to pick a winner mid run, let alone 4 days before :))
