$10 into $1000 Challenge
West Australian Racing
Since there's no General Discussion thread, I thought I'd put this in WA Racing, since it tends to be the most frequented.
The idea came from another forum I use. I thought it would be a bit of fun to ressurect it and see who can turn $10 into $1000 first.
A few rules:
Odds of 1.50 or greater.
Roll the entire winning into the next bet.
Bets can be placed on anything.
Obviously if you nail a 101 pop then you win but where is the fun in that? If people don't want to risk that much then just use $1 into $100 :-bd hell don't even place the bets and just post your selection, nobody will ever know but you don't get the sweet reward at the end #-o
I'll kick it off:
Bet 1 - $10 on OVER 43.5 games
Ivo Karlovic vs Aljaz Bedene
Return - $18

We got up to around $600 backing shorties, but got knocked over on a tennis match. We were on Andy Roddick in a match, and he got rolled by a young John Isner in a five setter. It was my turn to bet, and I was filthy!

I've got a few other theories and strategies I'll dig them up and post them for you all to test out or look into
The way this works is we start with $15 and rollover the winnings each time we win a bet. The this that makes this interesting is the bets we back act like a backwards ladder as seen below.
Bet 1 - $2.00
Bet 2 - $1.90
Bet 3 - $1.80
And so on.
Working our way to the final bet @$1.10 to end up with $1000
The first few bets will be the challenge however if we snag those value tips we get an easier job the further in we get.

Certainly did, rolling in cash with $18 to roll over into the next bet $-)
Probably another Wimbledon bet tonight once I find something I like.

I don't see why not, come to think of it the over 1.50 odds rule seems pointless. If someone can get there backing under 1.50 pops that many times in a row it's just as good :-bd

As in trying again? You can have as many attempts as you like. I've probably spent $1k attempting to do it over the years #-o b-(
Bang great start
