R1 Very keen on 4 - Great Googlymoogly. Great driver change and should outsprint them late. Too good.
R2 4 - I’m Stylish certainly looks the winner. 2 - Jimmy Recard and 5 - Courageous Disco for exotics.
R3 Very keen on 3 - Riri Rihanna. Hopefully it settles just off the pace and can zip past late.
R4 Think 3 - Anvil Rollover will lead and win this one.
R5 1 - Cott Beach has been going much better at its last couple and draws to lead here. I think it leads all the way.
R6 5 - Shadow Magic showed good ability at its only start and on exposed form looks the one.
R7 2 - Somebeachparty narrowly beaten in trial in good time. Will improve off that and be hard to beat.
Race 2------ ---------, children at your feet
Wonder how you manage to make ends meet
Who finds the money when you pay the rent?
Did you think that money was heaven sent?
And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much I miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight
And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair
I hear the sound of a gentle word
On the wind that lifts her perfume through the air
Race 2. Lady Madonna
Race 3. Rocket Man
Race 5. Good Vibrations
Now for the horses: Undercover Art , Compact Rocket and Cott Beach.

Take the form out of Bunbury tonight with some riders....there was a howling repeat howling gale which they had to punch into up the main straight, and it was blowing in their favour down the back. Had a cursory glance at the sectionals and the 3rd quarter was understandably very quick in some races and slowish last quarters as they were punching into it up the finishing straight.
Also, some horses only arrived on course late as the Forrest Highway was closed down due to a large fire with detours etc holding up arrival times on course. I think the late scratching in the first was due to that and I know one trainer geared up two horses in race 3 within 22 minutes of pulling in to the float carpark. It was a bit chaotic for a while....the fire forecast on the radio as I was traveling up was of an impending Armageddon with planes, choppers etc overhead but fortunately, it didn't eventuate. I don't suppose they could have put the races back a little bit to allow for the trouble but there were only 7 races and they put them back when the power goes offf or there is lightning around but probably locked in by TV commitments.
Battle of Bunbury was a good race, leader had to smack into the wind and Bechers got home best off an easier run. Not saying the form is askew but some horses clearly not suited by the windy conditions. Not talking a stiff sea breeze here, it was a howling wind.
Anyway, a short turn around and off to Collie tomorrow for a good programme and an even better day out.

Can recommend the Collie Cup in a few weeks to all the harness boys on PTT....clamber out of the armchairs and take the trip down South......Bridgetown Cup next week as well. Come and see it while it lasts coz it may not be here forever.
