The strange looking draws grouping trainers horses together in such a way that it seems beyond normal chance and probability was asked about at Wednesdays Industry meeting . No one had seen anything like it  on such a frequency at the one meeting .....all but one of the race draws was computer generated, the other being "out of a hat"....was assured that it was just one of those freak occurrences and that the computers integrity is regularly "audited"and that there was no glitch. Hard to argue with but it did strike everyone, including the very hard to please crowd at the Manji TAB, as very, very odd, especially when success or otherwise is so draw dependent at GP. There was also some "trainer grouping" from last weeks meeting and we were assured a close eye will be kept on these anomalies.

Not one to make specials from barrier 9 - but going to back The Art Form in race 1. Never easy from out there but looks a classy type.

Race 2: Talktomeurmajesty was terrific last week, when fought on well after breezing, but at around $1.50 sheeesh that's short. Might go Kimani a place in that one.

Race 5: A place on a roughie from barrier 2, also worked hard in the run when a very good effort last Friday- the underrated Gotta Go Gabbana. If not tonight, think a win is close.

notice it myself  odd. 8 out  9 groupings spot on with the free for all' as close as phukit is to swearing  for a perfect score card.

What was it that our old harness racing enthusiast Confucius said about betting on Trotting Races? And didn't the caller give it a nice old bake? I think Dan Mielecki was channeling George Grljusich ….he might have had a shilling or two on it??

Confucius also said 'he who leaves Ryan Warwick out will be eating a lot of Baked Beans'...sorry @offthebit but he's driving like a man possessed.

Thought The Art Form had Tisadream done to a frazzle, two smart horses. They cleared right away from the rest.

Kimani not suited how the race was run, not a bad run.

Noticed in the previous race a 125/1 chance searching for a run and went to the line with something in hand - Neighlor.

Jack Mack too good ........clearly the best 4 y/o in WA when right for mine......The Great Dane a hardworking strong fourth from the rear.

Yeah, a couple of mugs there, the Ryan and Brian show rolls along. What a magnificent job B.Clemens is doing with Soxy and R.Warwick not a bad sidekick. Great to see.

The old barrier 10 to the fore again.
Have $2 each way number ten every time it starts and you do no harm!

Voaky you were never going to lead. Just balance up and let the horse find its feet. Forget the on track interviews too and concentrate on your driving!

Barriers 8,9 and 10 dominating the evening. Three consecutive winners to gate 10.

Yeah fair enough it was pretty tight on the first corner. He's driving aggressively Voak, like him as a driver, potentially can be one of the best.

That's Voak at his best! Thought G. Hall Jnr rated Jimmydunn perfectly in the breeze. Looked home. A dead heat was a deserving result for both horses. No slouch Vulcan Tin.

Noticed Millwood Brandy going around later, was a good run last week when 66/1 and nearly crossed Davinci Diamond at the start. Slightly better overall field tonight, but liked the effort.

Luis Alberto to win the last! He's going better now. Machrie ( Voak ) looks the danger.

Something definitely happened when he kicked clear out of the back straight. Bobbed along for a while around the bend but seemed to level off the last fifty. Suspicious for sure. Hopefully he emerges 100% to give the Nugget some more depth.

Richie Bell summed it up best - Luis Alberto never ever again.
Could not have had an easier run in transit.

Have a look at the replay and the run of Dominate The Dojo....should have won easily.

We had hoped it was a stone bruise or abscess but unfortunately, we're not that lucky.

We are devastated. Of all the times he wasnt raced because he had a sniffle and instead hes struck down with this. Worst day.

Devastating news KTQ hopefully the little champion can make a full recovery after a lengthy rest and recuperation period as it is a pleasure to watch Jack race at GP.

Our good Friday night quality pacers being sold to the US. The little bull breaking down. Now our best 4 yr old in Jac Mac. WA Harness racing really needs a good one to come along now and give us a kick start.
Have noticed or "Really" not noticed the Inters this year. To me, it belongs in WA.
