The drive on bright diamond at pinj was a cracker. Even i can admit that was an 11 out of 10 drive. Lets hope for the sake of his loyal followers he can do it a bit more often on the shorties.

Another 11 out of 10 drive on El Jacko last night.

Second only to Chris Alford on the National Drivers List with a better strike rate and more stake money won.

I mean if you're driving for the number 1 stable in the state, it makes sense that you're up there in your strike rate. Put him on the horses Lewis drives and see how he fairs then.

It was another brilliant tactical drive on a difficult horse, no doubt about that....not too long ago, he was a nightmare that horse. But that stable has asserted absolute total dominance of late, any track, any time.... nothing less than very good horses and loads of them to the exclusion of just about everyone else. Your confidence would be sky high when you take an AK 47 to a fist fight and he is certainly doing the business, not only on his horses but others as well (like Im Soxy who is going superbly).

Hows he doing on Im Soxy?
Why would he drive 1000 races a year on crabs when he can drive 450 and get 150 winners. Are you saying he cant drive? His 2 winners were tactically perfect last night and the place getters were quality too.
Dosent lewis drive for ur dad? Guess thats why his % is low.

What I was saying is that you cant really look at strike rate equally when you're driving for number 1 stable who have an amazing strike rate themselves. I didn't say he couldn't drive.

Baz does ok % wise considering he only trains his own. Are you training or breeding any?

Not sure if me training or breeding any has anything to do with peoples strike rate. But to answer ur question. No

With a lazy five winners last night Ryan may have silenced even his harshest critic Offthebit.

No need for anyone to say anything, you just said it for us.
Kudos to ryan though for not butchering as many odds on faves than he used to.
I guess after 5 years of driving quality stock he had to come good at some stage.

8 winners on fri and sat night. A good effort.
7 out of the 8 were odds on.... just sayin
2 odds on faves beaten as well
Not a hell of a lot to crow about.
If i drove a ferrari and beat lewis hamilton in his hyundai getz, would that make me a better driver than him?

  • Have made a lot of good drivers look silly in the last 2 weeks.
47% win rate and 70% place rate sitting 2nd in the National Premiership, would think one was allowed to crow just a little bit but hey cant keep everyone happy.
Be safe and have a good Xmas.

Probably Yes, Because that is why Ferrari hire you.
    ;)

And the reason Hamilton is in the Hyundai Getz is because he is an "A" grade flog.

You blokes are so easy to stir up.....

    I love it

Just keep backing him at the $1.10 and see how long you stay in front.
Baked beans will be on you guys

Your bias in the face of a stellar period of driving by Ryan is becoming tiresome Offthebit.

Not a murmur when he caught Junior with his pants down the other night.

My 4 bobs worth - i think Colin Warwick had more natural ability as a driver than Ryan has got

Trevor was the star winning all the state titles but Colin Warwick was a very good driver

    Lobster tonight champ

Enjoy dinner with your 8 cats
  • OffthebitOffthebit    597 posts
You would have got plenty of lobster out of those rare value priced winners from Ryan. Make sure you freeze some of those.....

Did my eyes deceive me or did Greg bond do a media interview before galactic star ran his heat last night?
Does this mean the ridiculous, arrogant media ban has now been lifted??
God I hope not....I don't want to get shafted by his deceptive pre race interviews.
