If either of One For The Diggers and Alf's Odyesy stay behind Bandar they probably win - instead of third and fourth.

Think they thought Bandar was battling - but he's always been a one paced grinder and will find a bit.

Look at Disco Spirit - the driver on that horse ( Morgan Woodley )said "thanks digger and alf I'll take your runs".

Woodley I'd snap him up any day of the week.

Has Matty White made a comeback to race driving

The last race today at Bathurst Harness i was on the leader ( ran 2nd )  E/W at the $8.50 fixed odds only bet for the day

The last 100 metres the driver had a very similar style to Matty White .

Couple of roughies to look at in last couple at gp. The bill horn trained num 8 seems to be improving of late. The 8 in the last could sneak a place for first start for new stable

From RWWA Twitter Feed - R.Williams transported to hospital concussion. V. Stampalia and C.Voak initially cleared of injury, then later transported to hospital with lower leg injury and back pain respectively. Horses ok, minor injuries only.

What is it with not putting replay up of this race. Are they frightened drivers are going to collude. Did the same with king coal cup from memory.
Bad luck if you want to study form for Friday night.

The replay is on TAB.Com.au site - but you need an acct no to watch it

No warning at all Stampalias horse just hit the deck - he gave it a slight tap with the whip with his right hand - that was about it

Would shake the driver up a fair bit - because like i say  - therewas no warning - it just crashed

Interesting starter in the first at stawell tomorrow. Last start golden nugget winner Ana malak for Dean Braun. Should dispose of a fairly modest C3-C5 class race. Im not over the current handicapping changes in Wa but not sure he would be afforded a race as weak first up here!

He would be racing in pretty much FFA class here.
Sounds a good reason to send him to VIC for some more experience

Ana Malak has won $237,498 in life time earnings. His HWOE is $84,024 due to the concessions that apply to win earnings in big races for restricted age. 9 starts, 7 wins, 2 placings.

Correct Jay Jay/ Considering most of the HWOE $100k races are falling over then the FFA races are pretty much all he can go in to race.
Be nice if the commentator at Stawell did a little research though, Calling him a HER for the whole race considering he is an Entire.

Track work for the "mare"....but he did work it out when finally referring to the racebook post race.

Persistence with winner of race 2. Barulu, an 8 year old entire, wins at its first ever start. First went to the trials over 2 years ago, has had 12 trials interspersed across the 2 years and steps out today and wins going 1.56.1 for Hans Schneider. An old breed from the Chris Hodgson days that traces back about 7 generations to Samosan, the dam of one of my favourite old horses, Race Ruler. Just guessing but the horse must have had both some issues and some ability to be that dedicated..

Won't see a better conditioned horse racing than any of old Hans'

    They always look a picture.
    Good on the old fella,

I believe it’s been a battle getting this entire tractable. From trials not long back he posed a threat to safety of others as he would want to head for the exit track gate shortly after the 2170m release point and as a result was looking unlikely for a while to gain a satisfactory pass. Not sure how much early handling/education this one had since hes now rising 9 and having his first start. Hope he sees the actual races more than his trainers previous racing proposition which had close to 40 starts from memory but trialled at least twice that many times throughout its career due to continually wanting to break gait. Best of luck to trainer with this one!

Magdnalina Haylz very unlucky last start not to win! Bit stronger tonight in race 5 but worth a ew ticket with place bias.

Chariots, the bookie is probably correct..... but a $360,000 plus earner starting against a horse with just $76k in the bank is a case of the system being utilised very well by the connections of Courage Tells. Bossonova Bay with just $31k in earnings may tip them both out....but on LTE's, Courage Tells is "well in".
In Vincenzo's case, he gets into his race via a junior concession.
