In England .... Incredible in any competition how a team only loses one league game for the season and finishes second.
Locally a true argument made that Glory have no home ground advantage since they didn't play home matches this season at Optus therefore it is a neutral venue.
It would be terrific if the game attracted 60,000 but current prediction is just over 40,000 so similar to Subiaco back in 2000 when 43,242 attended.
the final just now highlights that you cannot play football on an afl surface. It becomes bamby on ice and it was a completely shit spectacle. And this is why the game in australia is quickly going to the dogs
The new team based in the City of Wyndham, Victoria. For the next couple of seasons, they will play the majority of their home games at Kardinia Park in Geelong and the occasional home game at Eureka Stadium in Ballarat. The all-time leading goalscorer in the A-League, Besart Berisha, has signed on as their main striker. They beat Wellington Phoenix in NZ 1-0 in the opening round and I think Perth Glory play them in the next round.
Consecutive 1-1 draws to start the season for Perth Glory (against Brisbane Roar at home last Sunday and against Western United today in Geelong). Glory will play the Phoenix in NZ next Sunday.
Glory chalk up their first win of the season, beating the Phoenix 2-1 in Wellington this afternoon. The Glory next play the Mariners next Sunday afternoon at HBF Park.

I know someone who I think still does. TBF - is the one sport that I think has really got lost in the pandemic. Even rugby seems to have survived, if not thrived (compared to where it was headed anyway).

Sydney FC (2009, 2012/13, 2018/19) equal Melbourne City (2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18) with three W-League titles.
