Gareth seems a nice bloke but frankly, I think he comes across as a simpleton.

Gareth will be a massive loss in my opinion. He appears to have a serious work ethic.
His knowledge across a lot of sports is under valued. I would not have thought I would find his session with "Sully" on NRL very interesting but they do a great job.
His harness knowledge and contacts are top shelf.
If anyone thinks doing his job is easy I would think again.
If RSN didn't like what he does or think he would not add value on the east coast then they would not be engaging his services. =D>

Love the banter between Macca and Gareth when Macca corrects him. Please don’t bring back shortee please.

Not sure they were that keen on each other.
At least Shortee brought some enthusiasm for the local product some of the guest tipsters could send you back to sleep.

A simpleton that would be on about $250k a year.........

I thought he did a good job...the fact he's been picked up by RSN probably indicates the same.

When it's all said and done, this radio station is irrelevant. It caters to a shrinking minority with a controlled broadcast reminiscent of Lord Haw Haw scripts on the progress of the Party. No difficult questions, no investigation of anything that may prove uncomfortable to question, nothing other than what the overlords at RWWA want plastered across the airwaves in an effort to say 'nothing to see here, move on'.

I would have said minimum $250k if you throw in all the other media stuff including tv etc.

Instead of trying to pick someones income lets just try and pick a winner. What he earns is his business (and the ATO’s) not ours.

They should do a sweep of the applicants online social media and internet musings. Then they can see which ones are most likely to carry a pitchfork to a cross burning wearing a white hood with eyelets swearing allegiance to the great white overlord.

Achtung baby I got me a plan !
