Bidding stands at $2250, that should be enough to secure him being overs

What private messages? Why would a horse who this season has sired a stakes winner be overs at the current price?

Grossly underperformed Stallion that buyers long ago gave up on. Just one of many that simply were entires, not remotely bulls.

Think I would rather a Alfred than  A Dick Turpin (do own a percentage in a Alfred that's won nearly $250000) so might be slightly biased

I reckon he’s a bargain. He’s got his biggest crop with his best mates hitting the track next year. He’s easily a contender for best wa 2YO sure this season. And I think he will continue to climb. He’s been a good sire. 100 to hit the track here and 3 stakes winners. He has proven he can make it with average mares. Prim and Proper is still the best 2YO of the year in my eyes

9k. spinking,,,  good buy don't have to move to many chess pieces to make a profit, plus lou is down as the owner ------ prim and proper's mum----prima vista?  Teddy might make another blue.

Covered 4 mares last year (and 13 year before), and haven’t been able to give away the already born ones for some time now.
I’m sure Ted will sleep easy...

In saying that - if you’ve got a use for him (ie a particular mare that nicks) then good buy yes.

Currently 3YO sire by winners. Fast one for Durrant, Luciani and now parnhams stable. Still don’t understand why people are so hard on him.

76 life foals now 2yo's - so every chance yes.
(This season or next more so - as 3yo's).

Will be short lived even if though, as foal numbers drop to single figures / nil thereafter.

I like the way Star Present finished off at it's first look also. It's a full to Showy Chloe and a half to Special Reward.

Nothing wrong with Alfred initial plate winner
