Gotta like crystal sparkles in the next should come off fence at start and follow brownies horse whole way for one last run at them. Should be solidly run race so anything behind is going to struggle.

Good call on El Jacko @Kane and @VK only saw the races from midway through but thought nearly win of the night from the ones seen, all quality and nearly 400k prize earner, Thereugo a 167k earner and unplaced at his previous five starts runs odds on with fixed odds.

One of the quickest beginners out of the mobile have seen, and thought he'd be a moral to lead just the same! Only had to cross one horse, but nope! Didn't realise the one horse was such a fast beginner too, battled away ok Thereugo but their was only one horse wanted to be on after 100 metres - El Jacko, and won with a bit of arrogance.

Gee that Speed Man was a good run too, Ana Afreet super impressive, and the horse Mick Grantham drove later on in the night that galloped down the back straight before making up good ground again, would've run second if hadn't have paced roughly would say, can't think of its name! Drew the ten and sat behind the leader.

The standing start race - leader, leaders back and three back the pegs - 3 of the 4 horses off the front line run 1,2,3 - huge novelty dividends and the trifecta never looked in much doubt in the run dominated by the peg runners.

Very even field and that 10 and 20 metre head start over the short journey - invaluable.

The other win of the night - Ana Afreet from gate 9, breezed and put those two short priced runners from barriers one and two to the sword.

Also Ana Malak from the breeze another excellent effort too, Vampiro did the job but liked the run of Ana Malak just as much and Speed Man that was tough! He fought on well.

Ana Afreet something like now 12 starts for 9 wins, that's amazing and placement.

***Ana Afreet - 16 starts for 12 wins...and over the journey 12 starts for 9 wins....but before last night had won only under 50k in stake money...nah that doesn't seem right, surely not. Must have come through some weak races, and a few Kellerberin wins or something.

Noticed Starlight Brigade at 50/1 passing a few, think there's a win coming up for him in the right race.

It Ain't Royal the roughie Grantham drove, not sure why galloped, but cost it a place that's for sure.

Track was very heavy last night (been resurfaced?), some liked it, others hated it. Horses back in the field came in caked in grey as did their gear. Very different to the skating rink from a couple of weeks ago. Some really strong efforts,  Speed Man, both Ana's and the good news story for Ray Williams and the owners was Major Pocket. who put a smile on the face for them after a tough week.
