Ascot Carnival 2019 - The Big 4

West Australian Racing
With the carnival fast approaching I thought it's time for the annual thread on who we all think will snag the big 4 races, if they run of course.
I'll kick it off:

Railway - The Velvet King

Guineas - Jericho Missle

Winterbottom - Loving Gaby (If she comes)

Kingston Town - Black Hart Bart

Don't make me search through this forum to find the post where you said Pounamu was no chance of winning the 2017 Kingston Town ;))

How about instead of being a negative Nancy and potting everyone's picks, you throw up your 4 so we can tell you why they won't win :D

chris is riding gatting this weekend. As for my tips, wouldnt trade mine for all the tea in china. He is a winner, enough said.

Winterbottom will go to an eastern states raider, cant see a local getting the bickies.

Guineas. Superstorm or Massimo if he heads that way.

Railway. Achernar Star or Nights Watch if it comes.

Winterbottom. Valour Road or Nature Strip if that comes.

Kingston Town. Superstorm or nights watch if it comes.

As Falc said lots of variables to play out. That is why have thrown up 2 selections

Why do people forget every year that Perth Racing 'encourage' nominations for pre race publicity, then at acceptances we have only a token Interstate representation at best.

Think have to wait to see who arrives from over east, early days, but two throws at the stumps with two local horse's for the WA Guineas and Railway Stakes.

Guineas - sometimes when in a bit of trouble ya have to Dig Deep.

Railway Stakes - this fellow has always shown promise, curious to see how measures up - the small military unit - Platoon.

So will that mean,Lane will have to bypass the Masters,if he was thinking of coming over?
