    Announcing the inquiry

Lewis was also asked if co-trainers Dan and Ben Pearce had
been questioned or could face any charges regarding the incident.

“The Pearce brothers were not in question regarding this
    matter.”

    Concluding the inquiry days later

The inquiry was opened …. Co-Trainer Daniel Pearce being
questioned in relation to the riding and handling of PUSHIN’ SHAPES including
    the riding instructions issued.

Journo originally told not in question but final report says DP was questioned. :-?  From Pushin' Shapes to Shakin' Heads

Since we are talking “cold as ice “ rides, Laufey Race 9 on 2/5/20.
That’s how you do it without raising suspicion.
No mention of it probably because who was on its back.
Will be watching with interest how it goes today.
In fact I will be on it because I am looking to recoup my money.

It doesn't matter? How many thousands of dollars do you think were stolen from innocent punters by these oxygen thief's?

It is a crime to obtain financial advantage by deception. Too many people in racing let things slide that shouldn't be tolerated.

Punters ???? That’s right. Without punters there is no industry.

Vicbitter it’s not sooking because as a realist the odds are well and truely against me in getting
a good horse at my first attempt that I accept no one put a gun to my head to get involved.
The observation in regards to the cars is a metaphor what I was implying is the mug who pays
fees getting by . The racing participants seemed to be doing very well out of the caper just an
observation on my behalf just don’t expect sympathy in regards to un just actions as greed can destroy the strongest industries and loose lips sink ships .

2 weeks ago I back Laufey for a place. Drew 17, tailed off and was hard held smuggled up amongst horses near the rail.
This week it draws 4 and comes down the extreme outside to finish 2nd.
    Hahaha. That’s racing. Haha

    =)) :-B :D :-/ :-@ @-) :)) :-O

I liked the winner's trial but didn't trust the pilot so backed it for the place only.. in a multi :\">

If Chris Graham got 8 weeks for Pushing shapes. Surely Victoria Corver gets 8 weeks for that ride on Validation.

I understand that she has only had 80 odd rides or so. But that was ordinary and not up to standard of competitive riding. Absolute trial standard at best.

And yes I was on Eachway

  • jumjum    3,512 posts

She certainly did, But its not exactly a peach of a ride sitting 3 deep the trip and 5 wide on the corner. More trainer than jock that performance. And it doesn't excuse the ride on Validation.

I don't have anything against her and I know she is trying to do her very best. But my opinion is that ride on Validation was not up to scratch. No urgency at all in the straight. Had from the 350 to the 150 to steer to the outside of I'm Icey. But just sat on it, same as graham on Pushing Shapes.

San Crispino... a perfect example why claiming is pointless when a kid struggles to maintain momentum in the concluding (crucial) stages of a race
