I don't know the ins and outs of the legal system. Can someone explain how this case has just been completed in February 2021? 

The charges were from a 2019 raid of the property, that found syringes with EPO. The drug was administered to former Perth Cup winner Cats Fun.....between 2009 and 2014?!

The last 4 paragraphs say it all. He's been caught and his career is over

    Me neither but i think Covid has delayed lots of court matters possibly? and although quite serious would down the scale a fair bit in term's of priority at a guess.

    i backed Cat's Fun that day, just got there as i recall.

    it was because mclean challenged them in the court of appeal(he did not want the police evidence used by racing vic) which is part of the supreme court in vic i think.
    probably would have taken ages anyway, but that i think was the main reason.

    with his associates he should have copped a longer ban.
    still, with his reputation i don't think he'd get many offers to train so affectively its a lifetime ban.
