Open race good field as it should be.
Great to see Chris Voak drawn 4 off the front at least we won’t die wondering.
After Monday can’t go past VT.
Gilga will be backing up no doubt !!!

Looks a very interesting race, the last word (hopefully we get it for a Bunbury meeting) will be pivotal to see what connections are thinking. At first glance I can see myself having something on Roman Art a place at big odds.

I'm trying to be more positive but I would have loved to have seen RWWA put more money in to the rest of the program, the meeting as a whole is very underwhelming.

Lord Rosco first up from spell gets in,,personally I don’t agree.
Then you look at his last trial broke and finished 100 mtrs from winner.
Has history for breaking, would be a brave driver to sit behind him Friday night.
My opinion should at least have to complete a satisfactory trial to get in a race like this.

Back in the day when horses were sent back to trials for breaking in races (now that is problematical).

Horses that broke in trials had no penalty and were sent back to races.

I campaigned to rectify that and succeeded but now it has been forgotten.

Or maybe overlooked, however maybe it is just a warning as he hasn’t offended for some time.

Nice horse the winner....51 starts, 20 wins, 20 placings......take him on at Bunbury at your peril, ask Mirragon .......but yes, walked and sprinted home very quickly.

Big tracks....even fields of class horses...2500m ....move in running.... unless you have a champion... you are dead.
Big tracks are less leader biased.....there's ya furphy.

On face value ( might have been driving to instructions but if so they were dumb instructions ) pretty average drive by R Warwick - didnt resist the challenge for the lead at all - gave up the lead on a screaming leaders track - hard to fathom

Looking at its form card - its won plenty of races leading all the way and in quick time - it hasnt got a run on its form card where its led and folded up and missed a place - so why hand up the lead tonight

A bit of initiative from Emily would not have hurt  after Major times found the front .
Gave her horse no hope of earning sitting back go to breeze and rate and give the horse a chance of earning at the very least or god forbid maybe make a race of it !!!

Thought the same MJ however I don’t think anything would have got close to the winner once he got up around the front end of the field.
Obviously a very smart horse, look forward to watching him go round next few starts.

What about the drive on this horse in its 1st WA start?
