Mighty Conquerer only ever been beaten once in front at GP and that was by Shockwave.
Nothing off the front to take it on except Mag Storm and I can’t see that over 2900 metres.
If I was the 1 I’d be handing up pretty well straight away and waiting for 1 last crack at them.
Note he’s never broken up in front either add to that the services of CD Brown.

Not sure, but would nearly be a first, with 4 female drivers, taking the reins in the Pacing Cup ?

This race has the potential to really highlight how good WA Pacing can really be on our small
    track which I love.
Barrier Draw has enabled a myriad of possibilities . Pace of the Race will be red hot I
believe attacks will be becoming from the 1600 m poll considering Team Numbers
hoping there could be another late swooper coming in just like the Freo Cup 2nd
    Placegetter.
It’ll be interesting to see how The Pacing Cup compares to the Hunter Cup as a Showcase
    Race & Crowd Participation.

I had Mighty Conqueror pegged as the leader too but was fairly confident he could t lead throughout this level of competition over 2900m. The races I saw that he won I felt like he got it pretty easy and even though they were dominant he wasn’t pulling away from horses on the line.

I’m of the feeling none of the horses are that much better than any of the others or going well enough that they can do work/make multiple runs and win.

So that has led me to Patronis Star. Tracking back through his replays that last run was no fluke, he’s been thundering home like that in slowly run races so when he got one with the tempo on he almost made the most of it. Sit back, don’t do a tap of work early and be the last one coming at them on the line. Ladbrokes had some very nice odds on offer about him during the day.

True Gilga but the 1 and the 10 will also be watching on from the inside running.
If either get clear running last 250 they will take a power of beating. Assuming of course MC leads.

R9 tomorrow Swing Band at the $3plus odds around looks a sensational bet.

I think the Hunter cup turnover would be far greater than the WA cup.

Victorian have trots vision and now being on racing, com, free to air channel, vic harness seems to fighting back.

WA cup hardly promoted and on at 10.43pm AEST. Hopefully its shown on sky1.

Going with Gilga in the cup.
Swooper Patronus Star one kick over them after sitting back and watching it all unfold.
Even if Chic Bull decides to sit and sprint Patronus Star will be right on his back.

Does Warwick look to get off the fence and get onto the back of Bull straight away?

Trying to find cup winner  be easy to find  Harold Holt.  By post time all the major chances may get to 5 or even 6 dollars with different betting sites. You could write a couple pages on what may happen early.
The three backline horses will be hoping for early dust up.

Having few first fours--maybe as simple as all the Ms.M.M.M. or all the American Ideals

1st Patronus Star---- Chicargo  Bull----- Balcatherine---- Minstrel.

    Good Luck.

Was thinking that but might collide with stablemate P.S heading there as well. M.C.in the 2 hole is he foolproof nowadays? would be a watch & act early.on him.if he has a flashback.

Can’t see RW trying to get off early.
Could end up being a race ending move.

Not sure sitting 3 pegs with MC in front being the place to be.  Gut feel (and thats all it is) is he isnt going as good as he could and 2900 might be a bridge too far.  Would u take being held up the length of the straight against 4 or 5 deep on the corner with free running?

My take if he comes off at the start to get behind CB he could go 3 deep at the 1200 and force CB hand (yes have PS on his back) or if he gets behind PS then he is still 3 deep with cover but has CB doing the work and then flush out PS.

What ever the take its going to be a rip snorter and i cant wait.

I am happy to stick with Miracle Moose on its win last time out & the 1 barrier.....the 2900 is a plus for it & whatever happens it will have a tankful when required. Then again he could run last ...it's that type of race.
