Mark Readings, Adam Pappalia and Glen Jakovich 6PR post game suggesting WCE need someone like Ross Lyon to come in and sort club out.
    Nearly choked on my sausage.

The thumb in the eye to Rueben Ginbey from Dangerfield had a deliberate look about it.
    Reckon he went for him

Just watched it again about 20 times and I will stick with my original opinion. The dirty mongrel went for him. His hand went past the ball with his fingers spread and stuck his thump in his eye.
    Lucky his eye appears ok.

Fair call never really took that much notice.
He looks like a great young player Gibney,
They need to back off on him a bit.
Too much pressure he going to get himself hurt.

Not having a go Detto but if you were listening to Jackovich post game today he was leaning toward your fitness coach “killer” as having some questions to answer.
I find it very interesting as when Freo had a similar injury run critics jumped on the fitness coach bandwagon.
  • detonatordetonator    4,380 posts
Not sure our fitness coach is the issue. Soft tissue ones maybe ?
But our injury toll in the last two years is like nothing any club has ever had to endure. As a member and supporter it is extremely frustrating not seeing half of your best 22 out there week after week.
Don’t reckon the fitness coach had anything to do with Sheeds fractured larynx or Ryan’s hamstring off the bone after he landed after attempting that mark.

St Kilda had 14 or 15 players out early in the season including King, Membrey, Windhager etc and didnt seem to trouble them at all.

Eagles guilty of staying loyal to Premiership players.
St Kilda wish they have Premiership players to which they can do the same.
    Just saying :D

Better coach VK and one that’s not protected by media.

When you are a Premiership coach you get cut a lot of slack. Luke Beveridge a prime example.
But “Ross the Boss” was  sacked at Fremantle because his last 4 years yielded finishing positions of 16th 14th 14th and 13th.
    Aim high “Saints”. Haha

During the year the dockers finished on those positions they had a very similar size injury list each season to what wet toast have now.

Jason Webber from memory was the man. He then went to Perth Glory and the exact same "bad luck" followed him.

I believe you are the one using injuries to 30plus yr old veterans (some looking about 15kgs above a good playing weight) as an excuse.

Since moving the previous S and C group freo now have consistent numbers on the track which can only help development.

The only ones consistently on the injured list are the like ls of Fyfe Tabs and Switta- they all have a long previous injury history which is the biggest precursor to future injury.

So Freo can't plan for these guys, they might just be a bonus.

This is also why the Eagles can't plan on having Yeo, Natanui, McGovern, Sheed, Shuey, Cripps (possibly Chesser even this earlier in to his career) in the future for any large chunks of time.

Upgrade the SandC team give the new crop a good run at coming through unaffected.

Looks like the injury list has struck Sydney aswell.
    12 I think I counted last night.
No excuses, no news stories have won 3/5.

I have noted since Simpson has been at WC he always goes down the injury excuse path, and it now seems to have well and truly infiltrated their clueless supporter base as well!

VK - To say all WC supporters are clueless is not true, I will admit there are some " clueless " supporters, but so have all clubs .

We will stick to our plan of averaging a premiership every 9 years. The envy of every other club I would suggest.  :D

I know they`re not very educated in Fremantle but an average is just that. 36 years in the comp divided by 4 premierships is..........9 years.
Dockers 29 years.......you know the rest. Haha.
    Wheres Nic ??? :x

Nic will retire without a premiership. RTB could do the same, does that make them failures?

    I don't think so.
