Cracking race this year. Must be one of the better editions in recent memory.

One of the outsiders, A Lot of Good Men, was favourite was 2YO Magic Millions won by Super Smink.

The second longest horse, Shaddow Fear, ran 5th at Flemington.

A fair bit of cerise and white favouritism tomorrow which is no longer the usual. Rusty Dreams will be an interesting watch too.

Star in the making is Super Smink and should be winning.

Think he’s still got more life n ability than Jagsy in the 3rd!!

Getting into the open 100m onto the straight!!! WTF??? Maybe in the first 4 weeks at Ascot all riders have to sign a contract to remind them that are at Ascot, a the straight is 100m shorter than Belmont!!!!

We currently have several good trainer. Many quality horses, and in a good week about 4 jockeys with their brains switched on 90% of the time!!

Cant Be Done isn't much good. It just shows how good Pike is and how bad the bias is today.

Super Smink was just a fitness run…

Anyone else a little surprised by the performance of the horse that win the last race? Runs away to win comfortably ~ 2 lengths, hasn’t won for 500 days,
Given the 35/1 last start run in Kalgroolie?
I guess off that last run at Kal you wouldn’t nominate for a city race unless were were somewhat confident.

….. I guess punters would’ve like to have known that BEFORE the jump?

Last start was actually Ascot and not a lot of luck. I posted a comment on here regarding it not being sighted at Kalgoorlie

"Fernie's Billy Ray drifted out the gate and was never sighted. Hasn't Fernie's Red Cadillac improved. Amazed nobody was disqualified after that August non effort."

I followed Billy since Kalgoorlie culminating in the reward at this meeting

On a slightly different note how was the crowd at the track today, Irish day always brings them out, my guess would be around 4500-5000

They were out in force. I was in line for the toilets & a drunk Irishman spilt his beer down my back .
     I was not impressed.
