I'm ever the optimist for some good run on type races but tonight, even more than a usual night looks an on pace bonanza.

I got just under $5 multi this morning Cut N Run, Rubins Plight, Rascal, Water Lou. I see the same multi is now under $4, mid tote you might get some crem somewhere along the line to boost it.

R1: No1 Cut N Run has been improving with every run the last 6 weeks or so, he's on a different trajectory to these. Interesting they opened Lady Prima Donna $4.60-has to be purely on the Bond factor and likely to start double that if not more.

R2: Good race. Certainly not keen to take $2.15 Soho Santorini with so many question marks over how this will be run. Maybe (big maybe) this is a run on race for the night and a horse like No10 Bellezza Nera represents a knockout blow but just a watch for me.

R3: Keen on No5 Regal Cheval at the $5. Think it gets the lead pretty quickly then should prove very hard for Goodfellaz to get past, I want to really knock that horse but it's not going to have to run anywhere near the times it has of late to get up in this line up.

R4: Looks pretty simple No1 Rubins Plight just leads and wins. Just has to be slightly aware of a possible ambush early from No7 Illawong Mustang. DEG may cross early then Rubin do the retake or even open up the gap behind him-definitely one to boost the novelties again.

R5: I've had a spec on No4 Tiger Royal @$26. He's looked great running on behind them recently and this could map out beautifully for him but I am mindful that at his last win it also mapped out beautifully and he looked set to explode past them but in the end he only just got there, maybe a bit of a deceiver. You could go field here (in which case the fave would obviously win).

R6: No strong opinion but if No2 Vultan Tin keeps getting out I might have a little spec on the hope (rather than expectation) that he can find the top.

R7: Hard to miss No1 Rascal last week, should do enough to hold Showpony and get it done.

R8: You'd think No5 Steno crosses??? Probably a slight bit of overs around the $2 but not a race I want to play.

R9: No1 Wate Lou, it might not be pretty but should be getting it done.

    Albany

R3: Loved the run of No1 Our Eagle Bay during the week. It could easily hold up if they wanted to but I suspect make Bazaar Package do a little bit to get past it then sprint lane on it late.

R7: No6 Shes A Lucky Penny. Probably has to win from last but can do it in this line up. I've been following for a while, you could make a case she should have won two starts back and then was a very nice pipe opener for a race like this at the back of the field last start. Nothing more exciting than a last to first winner if you are on.

    Good luck all.
