    Just RWWA playing the old…..it’s not our fault game.

    Still as gutless, ball less and inept as ever.

    There is a solution. But don’t wait for RWWA to find it or finance it !!

    Probably blame RWWA for lots of things but how could they be held responsible if the local city council sold off the water used for the racetrack, sporting grounds, golf course, parks and gardens without a proven back up plan.

    What's the solution?

    I thought the same re the comment it is RWWA fault, not in this case.

    If water is so critical then you secure what is important. This water licensing has been I. The wind for years.

    Kalgoorlie can go to a dirt track or all weather track . They can go to a shorter season.

    A that’s without knowing what they had already looked at.

    However the spuds at RWWA don’t get paid to think. The lazy pricks just sit in their collective arses and spend all day looking for a way to protect themselves. An the less tracks they have to manage the better they look for their ROI


    They’d would’ve known about this over 12 months ago. I would confidently suggest they have been trying to
    Negotiate with the shore for more water. NEVER going to happen. Would’ve been better off negotiating with LYNAS. Or developing a replacement track. But the saps wait until there is no time to do anything like that. So the only real alternative is a shortened season. And of course play the blame game. Something they and PERTH RACING have very long developed expert skills at doing!!’

    Kalgoorlie has been RWWA’s favourite child for years, just ask the rest of the provincial/country clubs. I’d be asking for an inquest into Kalgoorlie council and what incentives councillors have received as their actions have basically forced the closure of a sporty club / business thet brings millions to the region.

    I don’t disagree Bobcat. But I’d be looking closer at the CEO, than the councillors. As that is the person who will benefit financially from any increase in assets to be managed.

    Most Councillors are just puppets of the CEO’s these days. The tail well a truly wags the dog in most local councils these days.

    This I totally agree with Rio, some local govt. heirachy are pretty ordinary.

    Kalgoorlie had five months of water restrictions in 2023, with LYNAS  only using  25 percent of the signed  1,7 Gigalitres. Per year.now they require the lot  

    .     KBRC Use approx one million litres a day in summer.,unless the State Government intervens its to big of issue for local council -----CEO has said he has plan with the help of State Government 
    outside of bulding massive  dams or larger recycling plant.be interested to see what his plan entails.

    Rumour Mill Has X amount meetings at Esperance, rest at Northam for this season.The Council next meeting 20th Jan. plus all ovals school grassed areas missing out, there;s a proposed 800 Man Camp on the agenda.as well..

    We dug a big hole in the ground last year at work.

    After complying with all regulations. Putting in dozens of ground water sensors to measure the impact on the water absorption, we had spent just under $40 million!!!

    How can a hole cost so much???? Compliance with tree huggers protecting the environment….. what a load of ????

    Stand corrected but I have pieced together.
    Club has two dams already inside the track.,plus a feeder dam they can call on at huge cost for the water.outside the course .

    Now in the same area a group of businesses want to build another dam,The Council CEO, can sign a 99 year pepper corn lease at 25 dollars per year,,but my information he won't instead wants to sell the land for the dam to KBRC.
