    prices? :-w

it's not all about money Falcon, it's about selection..If you have to pay $20 for a roast or curry and that is all there is, then that is a rip off..but if you have 3, 4 or more selections and it is $20, then that is fine... Not that i'm suggsting the food is priced that way, or infact worth that much. I'm just saying the addittion of more choices of food is GREAT and well over due.

all i can say is that i reckon there will be a lot of wastage. the scant crowd they get at belmont seem to me to be the pie and chips demograph.

see they have "crispy fresh made fish & chips'.....anything would be better that that crap served at niks.
love to take a sample of his fish to a lab....i'd take a guess at some stuff from vietnam....
ask diva about his tartare sauce..... >:P

I find Belmont tends to corral the crowd a lot better than Ascot. Theres actually more atmosphere at Belmont.
Opening day is usually a pretty good day too from memory, so it will be interesting to see where its all at based on tomorrows crowd. The fields are reasonable too.

I wonder if that means they're making their own fish and chips, as opposed to Niks, which I found inedible last time I ate there.

Sounds excessive, but 10 years is most likely a realistic timeline. It is easily four stages, each of which would be during the off season, and most projects don't go that smoothly. So I'm sure a season might be missed, money might get a bit tight as well. During the construction phase a lot of members will need to be patient. I think the public will stay away in droves however.

They would be better to bite the bullet and give up a season to Pinjarra, and work through Summer/Winter/Summer and break the back of the complete reconstruction and or makeover.

But man they need to roll in the LAMB VAN. That is where it's at during winter. Haven't seen within years, was prominent at pinjarra for many a year
