I know the rules are not to be breached but I am thinking the stewards are very harsh to say this to Libby Howood and I think that ms McKecknie may be would be falling if not helped by her ....this is Oaksbank report.

Stewards were satisfied in the circumstances L. Hopwood’s actions were not in breach of the Rules, however, she was advised in similar circumstances in future to refrain from making contact with other riders. Stewards further considered that regardless of the action taken by L. Hopwood, H. McKechnie appeared to have regained her balance and in all likelihood would have maintained her seat in the saddle without any assistance.

Agree with stewards somewhat. Hopwood had no control of her own horse causing major interference. Mckechnie wasn't coming off anyway.

Loved the intentions of Hopwood but she could have done more harm than good. It turned out ok THIS time.

it nearly looked like a automatic reflex action...but agree with the what is said by the stewards, she was on the way to recovering all by herself anyway.
