I had intended to trek to York but the forecast temperature is too hot for me to handle for the day. I hope they get a good number attending.

R5 Almaleo is fitter and ready for this task
R6 Royal Archie the former Eastern Stater can score
R8 Keep Flame Alive is CD winner and a chance in this

Good luck to those having a play.

Should be way better than 40 and 45 minute gaps. that just makes it a very boring day.

Of course, i was more concerned with the logistical side. Hopefully it smooth sailing i would like to see more of it

Albany did it out of necessity one day after lightning delayed the start of the meeting. Races were rescheduled to run at 25 minute intervals.

Trainers were under the pump. Perhaps 30 minutes, rather than 25.

Having horses in consecutive races makes it nearly impossible for battler trainer.

I hope so, didn't mind Queen Of Tease EW in R5 so just went down and put a bet on at 18/3.8. Massachusetts was just late scratching so hefty deductions there and now the Frenchman possibly not riding :((

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious but I'll chime in late today and say the last 3 winners have all led and won convincingly... Safe to say who I'll be on in the last to make it 4 from 4 :D

Punting and turnover wise it's great, I've never been a jockey so can't comment but if 25-30 mins in between is enough time for hoops to prepare in between races then I'm all for it! Great initiative in this heat

There's specking for Spy Scandal. WTF? a 38 start 7yo that has never won beyond 1190m, never placed beyond 1300m and never started beyond 1720m. It is running over 1920m and hasn't run for 7 weeks. Again I say WTF?

Why isn't the #2 a special? Thought it'd be heavily backed. The rest are camels.

The first two horses round the bend almost pull of the quinella #-o
Impressive win by PP considering the track bias

Talk about being shafted with deductions, 0.4w and 0.4p.

When I put the bet on Queen Of Tease it was 18/3.8, within seconds of me placing it the late scratching came through and it dropped to 11/2.6.

    I end up with 10.8/2.28 X(

Losing day Blueman, 0 for 3. Royal Archie been a big disappointment since coming to WA was tipped to me Narrogin first up, was just a fair run, and has not got a cent of mine since
