So the WACA sent out a members info the other day...................
Presented this great new members package whereby for twice the membership fee of last year you can receive pretty much the same facilities as we had at the WACA. (otherwise you just get pretty much same facilities as GA).
And I suspect that's for ONE pass, not two - so may be as much as 4x the price !

When the AFL clubs released their season ticket seating there was uproar if the prices increased slightly...... Where's the outrage at WACA ???

After Andre Russell takes the catch to dismiss Lynn, he nabs himself a final over hat-trick, then peels off a lazy 121* (off 49 balls) at #7 to help chase down 224 in the final over. Only the 2nd player to take a hat-trick and score a century in the same T20 match (Joe Denly, Kent v Surrey, July 2018)

Chased down the target with 106 deliveries remaining to secure a bonus-point win. At 5/100, things weren't looking good, then Turner came in at #7 and smacked it to all parts of the ground.

    WA 6/206 (32.2 overs) - Turner 70* (55), Philippe 59 (59), Sams 3/46.

It's due to the extended BBL season (teams will be playing an extra 4 games each as opposed to last year). They've lucked out with the weather tonight, was a good night for cricket, not too cold unlike Tuesday night. I was glad when WA wrapped that one up early!

I haven't heard anything regarding an injury. Inglis was in better form during the pre-season games, hence he was made #1 keeper. Whiteman wasn't in the initial squad for the tournament, only an "injury replacement" player.
