The Australian Women have completed a 3-0 clean sweep in both the ODIs and T20Is against the West Indies in the Caribbean.

    ODIs
    AUS 4/308 (50) beat WI 130 (37.3)
    AUS 2/308 (50) beat WI 8/157 (50)
    WI 180 (50) lost to AUS 2/182 (31.1)

    T20Is
    WI 8/106 (20) lost to AUS 4/108 (18.5)
    WI 9/97 (20) lost to AUS 1/98 (14.3)
    WI 81 (20) lost to AUS 1/83 (7.3)

Only six players batted during the series, with Meg Lanning averaging 255 (only dismissed once), Ellyse Perry averaging 209 (also only dismissed once) and Alyssa Healy scoring 349 runs (average of 69.8).

With those three ODI wins, they have now also qualified for the 2021 World Cup (in New Zealand) with six games still remaining, having won 14 of their 15 qualifying ODIs.

See the WA State team going back to original name, and rightly so, representing the state proudly, leave Western Warriors behind and back to being called WA.

How's this for a collapse down at WACA this afternoon.

After VIC recovered from 5/64 to make 185, thanks to a half century from Will Sutherland (53), TAS were cruising at 4/172, needing only 14 runs off 71 deliveries, before losing 6/12 in just 15 deliveries, three wickets each from Chris Tremain (4/36) and Jackson Coleman (4/46), to end up losing by a run. The last five wickets falling for just three runs in ten deliveries.

Just to add some context to that batting collapse story, TAS were chasing the bonus point (for getting the runs inside 40 overs). Only needed five runs with five wickets in hand at the start of the 40th over. Lost three wickets in that over, then had no recognised batsman left and the tail enders were dismissed in the following over.

Some very interesting lbw decisions given out by the umpire in that collapse!

WA won the toss and put NSW into bat in the one-day game at Drummoyne Oval. Interesting decision, considering WA had won all three games this season batting first.

NSW ended up with 6/348 (their 3rd highest total in an one-day game). A second consecutive century for Daniel Hughes.

    NSW 6/348 - Hughes 152 (143), Gilkes 82 (51), Tye 3/86.

WA have only ever scored 300+ once batting second in an one-day game and that was at this ground two years ago, scoring 6/325 v South Australia (Klinger 143, M.Marsh 124), which resulted in a five run loss.

AUS Women won the toss and batted first again, in the second ODI v Sri Lanka at Allan Border Field, this time making 8/282. WA's Heather Graham, in her ODI debut, made 4* (5) batting at number eight.

    AUS 8/282 - Haynes 118 (132), Healy 69 (62), Lanning 45 (62)

Only twice has any team scored more than this batting second in a women's ODI. The highest total was by South Africa (9/305 v ENG at Bristol, two years ago, in a 68-run loss). The only other time, which is the highest successful run chase in a women's ODI, was by Australia (6/289 v NZ at North Sydney Oval in 2012).
