Haha was waiting for that response......and I ain't no Nostradamus...he has him going extra well. I had a chance to buy him before he came over to Granthams but super judge JJ went nah, I don't really think suited to WA up tempo racing....that's the way of the world, good luck to the horse.

What a disgrace Sky channel was tonight - split screen for first three or four races at GP with Cantebury on the other split with still three or minutes before start time , including ads.

    They treat WA like ****.

Aldo couldn't have scripted it better from gate 10 with that thing going like a bat out of hell in front. Good for him, pricked an awful lot of expensive balloons.

Have alluded to it before that stable continually have horses go crazy in front when required. No doubt hitting the stirrups, this time they just weren't good enough, one day the stewards will wake up to the pattern.
Well done Aldo great drive one of the best FRK reminiscent.

Wait until the TAB is sold and SKY answers solely to a corporate master ( although to be fair the pressure exerted by RWWA on behalf of WA Harness coverage has been warm lettuce stuff for eons). How many thoroughbred, dog and virtual races can they fit into a harness event timeframe....we will surely know the answer to that as we watch first exposure harness replays at 2 am. It is probably the sole reason harness racing will eventually modify its racing distance to mile racing in Australia

The good old 1,10 - 1,10 Theo Aviator dividends weren't bad!!

Doesn't matter what price they are - will never be a full jackpot because know a fella who religiously takes a small % of 1,10 - 1,10 every race!

Doesn't even look at the fields! I've always thought its just a numbers game haha.

The following race with the carryover component thought trifecta paid extremely well, but first four a shade skinny.

1,10 sometimes it's a case of when you least expect it - expect it!

The Junior drive in Theo Aviator's race...can't remember it's name VK haha, yes WildWest - could not have had enough on that at the bell, thought was bolting, and soon as let go would swoop upon them but never did. Had a very soft run off a pretty quick speed, with the 3 wide cart up.

A reasonable result was - got a feeling Pete Tilbrook might stay in the one out line on the 11 Illusination, and if that's the case with American Dream leading from 1 and Jack William trailing through from 10, then only one horse can go three back and that's SS driving Absolution from the 12.

Approaching the circle Absolution with the perfect run was as flat as a biscuit, doing nothing, thought right will never ever back that horse again!

But being the one paced type he is, Suvaljko kept sooling him along and he's finished off into third.

That first four dividend paid well considering a more than likely 1,10 and once Suvajlko gained three back it was nearly in the bag.

The breeze horse in that race, can't remember it's name haha the Ryan Warwick drive it was a very good run. Took Absolution awhile to bloody get past it!

Gee it was a decent ol meeting for Aldo last night at GP with the Aviator boys- Theo, Naval & Roman.
2 wins (including the 4yo Championship) and a 3rd and all of them were at big odds Theo getting up at 100/1 ($109).

These Aviators have been serving it right up as Westbreds to the NZ imports since their 2 y/o days and continue to do so. The myth of NZ bred superiority across the board has never been better illustrated.....sure they are hard to beat when you buy the top end of the NZ crop each year but there are plenty of them below that level who wouldn't hold a candle to the Aviators. The shame is that Mr Aviator was gelded before this group showed their wares......the cultural cringe and lack of local patronage .....a big part of the WA harness racing problem.

I only watched the GP replays this morning

Re Aldos long shot double - excellent call by Ritchie Bell - at the bell lap ( not the finish where we can all be experts ) he gave that a huge plug

Lost track of the form the past 6 mths or so - but one of those Avaitor horses won an Albany Cup - it went like Cardigan Bay that night

MSA, go to RWWA website, click on Harness Hub, Trial Replays Byford Pinjarra....they are very prompt .....also on HRA website on results page  for Trials, they are usually up by Monday Lunch with video link attached......But RWWA site is first for replays.
