Alan Kennedy would have ridden half the card (possibly more) if he stayed on his rides
Feel sorry for any punters that took the shorts on a couple of his rides that have now got replacements nowhere near his ability... no disrespect

Was there early March for a thursday meeting not a bad track and facilities i liked it, the punting went just average and the Trade Talk run(or failure to get a clear one)still stings.

The distance races are certainly open affairs,
R3 Every Mile A Memory, can race handier today.

R4 Defiantly, wary of the city class Mycroft if its primed..throw in Pagan's and there's your boxed trifecta.

Agree on R5 Sluice Box, this horse goes ok it trotted in at Espy 2 runs back, forgive the wide run last time..claim quite helpful IF the "cashew kid" can ace the steer job.

R8 Fair Eugenie is my value bet, off a freshen up should get a decent run throughout.

Brick Short will win Race 2. 10/1

Forgive her last run. She was feisty that day, started from a wide gate and spent a lot of gas crossing them to lead. She's back to the more suitable 1100m today. Won a trial effortlessly 9 days ago and her effort running 2nd (33/1) over 1100m just over a month ago was solid.

I took odds on in the 1st race and took 12-1 in the 2nd race. Generalisations don't work in racing.
p.s I would have doubled my bet if I had seen Skids' post!

Quite Curious to see how Palace Rogue goes today and if Madi Derrick can continue her decent form from Albany on the toppie here( I was on 3 of her 20-1 pops that all placed but not the one that won 8-} )

I should have stuck with Blitz Glory, an average conveyance that obviously loves Gero!

nice effort for a last start picnic winner i'd of thought
1400 up to 1900 and only beaten a length or so that should top him off nicely for next start nice to see him back to a bit of form

So...cashew drops his whip which didnt help but did Sluice miss the kick? I missed the jump but saw it back last on the outside of the heavily backed winner..which btw was a good ride just quietly.
  • ChrisChris    5,218 posts
He dropped the whip at the worst possible time @-)

It would have been criminal to see Ruby Jean beaten there.

I’ve already had one peanut (Cashew) drop the whip, didn’t need another butcher job
