I watched a pace from France the other night - EVERY horse in the "race" name started with H.

    Yeah right.
I had no idea that existed.

Thought it may have been some special condition type rqace - eg how have "greys only" races.

Would have been a trot to be pedantic.....no pacing in Europe. The breeding is tightly controlled & import - export only with scrutiny. Many of the stallions at stud continue to race & are trained from separate paddocks.

Not racing related but did you see the set up names in the West Australian Newspaper Letters to the Editor from contributors such as Wilma Hando and Cleo Taurus?

The horses  name can mean both Falcon. And  I must share the same filthy warped mind with Slip, because that what I thought of.

If the owner is a dyed in the wool Aussie, I reckon he's referring to his organ rather than his wallet. I think that the person who let it through, had no idea that the word wad, meant anything other than bundle of money, if in fact they even knew that.
    :-?

Yes Falcon obviously I knew the double meaning and that is what makes the name clever.
  • thefalconthefalcon    19,949 posts
clever? in this case i don't think so....
  • SLIPPERGOLDENSLIPPERGOLDEN    7,741 posts
You don't have to do so but I do think it is clever and that's what counts  :-B
