  • Our mare fell at Albany Friday night getting her legs taken. No driver apparently to blame, she hung out very slightly (according to Mitch, it was very marginal) horse outside her hung in. Eye roll. Surely you wouldn't be traveling so close to the i…
  • Heard of and read of a number of stewards inquiries recently (including in the newspaper) and there has either been no outcome or no hearing notice posted on rwwas site. Wouldn't it be integral to industry integrity to have this information publicl…
  • Does it get a handicap penalty? I mean why should the opposition have to re-race it off the same mark, particularly in stands?
  • Thank you. He's going fantastic. Dad was thinking of selling him east a few starts back, he hits his knee so would suit the mile racing on bigger tracks over there but I guess he heard us and lifted his game ????
  • Mitch Miller won on Punters Dream for us at PJ one day. Was a glorious, intelligent drive. A drive so good that even AC Lewis commented on it. A drive has to be pretty good for the master to commend it. Vastly underrated driver. Follows instructions…
  • It certainly took some effort to get Perfect racing. I think we had her ready to trial 4 or 5 times and she'd go sore or get a cold, injure herself, get an abscess. Some horses are too much effort.. but its very nice when it pays off
  • Quokkas??? So it WAS a quokka I saw on Graphite. I thought my tired 3am eyes were playing tricks!
  • Has the minimum sectionals policy been removed?
  • I wish nothing but the best if wishes to the Faggs. I am so happy to see them quinella on NYE
  • Fark me checked that race in 94 Merredin. Was in it. Remember the night now watched 2 horses win that I lost the drives on whilst serving my 21 day penalty that I won and didn’t get a sling for. Was filthy. Who were you on? I remember most of t…
  • Was back in the day when they ran those Sires Series races at all country tracks for reasonable money. Gold Corvette knocked her off but Whitby Tolez galloped out and was off the track coming around the field. January 1992. Think Des Stockman traine…
  • Very glad we took all our horses out tonight. Not the weather to sit in a float for 3 hours

  • How was that call of the 1st race at Narrogin - an absolute classic- an absolute relic - one for the ages  It was that funny (  some of the sentences - these favourites - i cant pick them up - but they are going backwards ) - i  will probably watch …
  • Harness NSW is seeking submissions for topics for their annual roadshow. Wonder if RWWA is holding one again this year
  • After our horse got another bad check the other day from a driver carelessly shifting ground, I've decided to tally the penalties for each driver for shifting out/crossing for each driver, which to me are the most dangerous driving moves. We've had …
  • dont read too much into the liking of posts. My account logs me out every time I leave and mostly I cant be assed logging in to then be redirected to the home screen to then have to navigate to thia forum then to a thread to like a post. Im sure m…
  • Wheres Tony Svilicich these days? And also was there an outcome of the Kevin Charles positive? Hearing was back in Sept but no word on rwwas site
  • The recent addition of ads on this site isnt such a bad thing but holy the ad placments are eyebleedingly painful on mobile. A full mobile screen sized ad mid-forum. Yikes
  • It took 5 years to get little Kept Forever to the races. Every time she'd get down in time, she would go rough or start hanging, get filling in a tendon, get an abscess or a cold etc and she'd have time off. We would bring her back and itd happen ag…
  • Thank you. Shes a good girl, worked sensationally this week and feeling pretty good. Underrated driver Mitch Miller is too - he rated her perfect. No arrogance, follows instructions and has driving smarts.
  • Yes and yes, to both flip flops (Neighlor raced in them his whole career) and Iodine with Castor Oil is currently being applied daily to Ossie, consulting the legend L.J.Robinson, bar shoes, trying everything known to man and horse. Was wondering wha…
  • Its a shithouse game being an owner. Case in point Jack Mac. Faced lung infection and whacked his leg before the Derby, not fit enough in 1st 4yo race, won the next, broken pedal/coffin bone in Nugget prelude, out for 2.5years, we did everything rig…
  • We have a couple with terrible feet and its seriously heartbreaking. It seems such a simple thing but no feet no horse. They wont try in that last 50-100 meters no matter how much you pray that they will *this* time but they are so so hard to fix :…
  • Mikes, how did you get into ownership? Welcome onboard!!! Heres to many wins
  • No betting markets on TABTouch. Nothing for GP however if you want to bet on races Belmont Saturday no problems go for it. Another great example of RWWA and an even playing field. Distribution on turnover however you get 720 less days to bet on the …
  • I think....don't quote me... but I think the first "trotters" in WA were Norfolk trotters imported from the UK....a stallion called Bay Shales was really influential pre-1900. Big heavy horses that trotted as their natural gate that competed at the …
  • Oh for sure its business. Horses are just so even these days that a driver will pick a barrier over loyalty - is that a fairly new phenomenon or has that always been the case? What would make a top 5 driver stick with a horse even if it drew barrie…
  • How did harness racing get started in WA/Australia? Is Alan Parker on here for a quick history lesson? We have an old colonial line that only goes back to about 1927 in WA (2 gens further in NSW) but the stallion lines back then were imported and …
  • Oh jeesus christ, it was drunken tongue in cheek fistpunch at the thrill of a GP win at huge odds but OK ???? clearly you guys dont use the word mofos the same way I use it (which is very much like calling a mate a c*** and a c*** mate) Shes had 12 …
