raymondo11 was out in the wilderness of the finals cutoff point at the start of the Ascot meeting and now finds himself as one of the main contenders in competition, finishing in 6th place at the close of the week.

It was one of the outstanding tipping displays of the competition landing Drive West, London Line and Wobbegong amongst 5 winners and destroying his field.

raymondo11 is no stranger to success having previously competed in finals after finishing in the top 16.

Meanwhile someone like fishmonger found himself 20th at the close after starting the week in the top 10.

The two Group 1 winners from last week went unplaced and fell out of the top 10 too, and despite the random fields the 1st placed Blacks A Fake and 2nd placed Vandieman4 found themselves in the same race competing again. Neither could seal the deal with RedCheeks sneaking through for their 4th victory. Vandieman4 managed 2nd to narrow the gap between himself and the leader. The 188th placed scoot also looked a fleeting chance to upset the two top-of-the-table tipsters however capitulated to finish 4th.

The 3rd placed moorey also went down in the final strides to finish 2nd. Mothballs took over in 4th spot after a personal best performance in what has been a consistent season with 3 wins and 4 placings from 11 goes.

As the Ascot carnival gets to the business end so does the need to make every week count in order to finish in the top 64 and play finals. Bonj is currently 64th with 0 wins and 7 placings in 11 starts. The top 16 also automatically qualify for the first round of the knockout stage making the run home a lot easier.
