Finals hopes slipping away from aspirants
There are only two more weeks for finals aspirants to claw their way into the top 64.
Despite the purple patch of form from CPL, Blacks A Fake last week regained and managed to hold the lead in Raceday. In a bold performance to return to the top of the table Blacks A Fake won his event and in doing so ensured his 5th victory kept him marginally clear of CPL - who has won two on the trot.
Mothballs snuck third in the same race to keep in the mix and Legless rounds out the top 16, who will automatically qualify for round three in finals.
Bean is the only maiden left in the top 64, a luckless performance, whilst Group 2 winner Gilgamesh rounds it out.
As per usual the bottom 32 will battle in two races on Perth Cup day with the top 8 from each qualifying to face the 17th - 32nd in a one vs one battle.
The winner of each one on one will move through to face our top 16. With 1st playing 32nd, 2nd playing 31st and so on.
The winner of each one-on-one will progress through until we crown our 2016 Raceday winner.

How does the Finals series work for this Tipping Comp?Only thing is that there are 64 and it finishes 1 January 2016.Thanks for any advice.

I was in the final 8 last year and I haven't got anywhere past 80th this yearIt was so much easier when I was rigging it

Its a game of chance. I've been up there for the last few comps and been knocked back on the last few weeks each time. Picking the best hope is all fine but if Dark musket had a better run and possibly win then KA POW. Good luck to all because as they say the...

Slim pickings for @CPL without that though :-SS of @CPL 's training / feed / drinking regime I entered the comp with the intention to pick the best outsiders not get the most wins theory. So time will see.
