H-BOMBER back on top

The former competition leader, H-BOMBER, had been out of form until a self-relegation back to the midweek events. Whilst guaranteed easier company, the Wednesday results often dictate that it's not always the best tipster who ends up in front.

H-BOMBER looked to be repeating the dose until the glamour selection of Paramour sewed up his eighth victory. His win unfortunately meant the veteran competitor RIO again took the bridemaids honours for the 5th time in his 30 start career. A win looks around the corner though for the erratic stallion.

The win was the ratings boost the doctor ordered and now returns H-BOMBER to the lead, passing willy_jones who has held strong over the past three weeks but his back of field finish on Saturday opened the door. The man H-BOMBER dead heated with in the Group 1 PUNTA Cup, Bfacey77, flashed late in Race 1 to finish third and maintain the same ranking on the ladder.

Both sonny and Chris used the selection of Zuccheros to find late legs and win their events, with Chris trailing last on $0 after two races. sonny's 6th victory has moved him into prime contention for the finals.

trevydards, who has shown massive potential in the past, also scored his third victory in Race 3.
