Jordan vs RIO main event in 2014 Raceday grand final
One semi final was over in a blink of an eye as Vital Importance landed a massive blow for Jordan to secure his grand final birth. The other waited on the result of the last race before calling all clear.
smiddy197 was game in defeat all day, however coming back from a $28 winner was never going to be on the agenda. Jordan's game selection proved that he deserved to be in the big dance and 4 winners overall didn't hurt his chances either.
The competitive battle of the day came in Semi Final 1 as Gilgamesh and RIO struggled to find a winner. RIO held a narrow lead through placings alone before Gilgamesh found the first winner through a sub on a scratching, Benito. Despite going down to the wire RIO led all day and finished with the winner of Rock Magic to secure a fairytale win, ensuring the last man into the finals would be there on the last day of the competition.
It's not all doom and gloom for the losers, they'll play off for $100 worth of free bets in the battle for third place.The two winners are guaranteed a cheque, however the honours as winner will all be on the line come next Saturday.
The man ranked 14th plays the 82nd best tipster in the 2014 Raceday grand final. The numbers suggest Jordan is the inaugural Raceday winner, however the world awaits the final chapter of the fairytale.

They've just released a picture of Chris testing Rio's sample. RIO challenging the decision saying ASADA protocols were not followed correctly. More to come on this one I think.

Hold the phone. RIO's urine sample has just returned and there were traces of blood found in his alcohol stream. Inquiry to follow. They didn't send it to the same lab that thought Apache Cat was a feline did they?
