Perth's four finest punters or are they?

When RIO took out the inaugural Raceday competition from 64th in 2013 it demonstrated that qualifying for finals and then finding form at the right time was the key to Raceday success.

With such a consistently performing top 16 this year many thought the winner would come from the top few, especially not having to compete in the first two weeks of elimination. It was not to be. Small fields at Ascot have crippled some of the main fancies and upsets have been the theme of a volatile finals series.

Instead the qualifiers are Dan81, ranked 47th overall and who joined in August 2015 and is yet to post on the forum. Long-term forumite Thumper who finished 52nd in regular season. The vocal Wizard who slotted in at 56th and finally Aussiereds72 who once again wears the 64th jersey. Perth's top 4 punters over the gruelling three month journey.

There's not a single qualifier from the top 32 in regular season and the 4 who remain have all successfully participated in every week of the finals to be lining up for a shot at the main prize.

The grand and runner-up prizes will be announced the week before the big dance.

There will also be an 'all-in' race on the final week of Raceday for exited participants to claim a trophy.
