RIO struggling to recapture form
The inaugural Raceday champion and Group 1 final winner RIO looks to be nearing retirement after a miserable season with just 3 placings in 10 starts.
He currently sits 145th on the ladder.
Despite coming from 64th when successful in the first season of Raceday his best days look behind him.
Fellow winner choc is also on the border of bowing out of contention this season sitting 101st on the ladder. His gutsy win in the last edition followed a top 10 performance all season.
Other previous Group winners all still remain in the hunt with the top 5 performing consistently and looking classes above the rest.
This week the open fields mean that races will be formed irrelevant to ranking meaning the better performed can pray on the easy-beats, however are also vunerable to a major upset.
