Ripper Rio to Williams stable news

Ripper Rio to Williams stable

Perth Turf Talk | Metropolitan Racing | Thu 9 February, 2017

Promising galloper Ripper Rio has moved from the Brian Kersley stables to that of Grand Williams under new ownership.

"He feels a different horse", said Williams' trackwork rider.

The gelding is set to trial in two weeks following an excellent campaign at the end of 2016 winning in Bunbury & Northam before finishing 5th to Cronkite in town.

Ripper Rio's race record currently stands at 14 starts for 4 wins and 4 placings.

how would he know "he feels a different horse" if he is new to the stable?? same trackwork rider...  who would fall off every 2nd day at Ascot, if she didn't come off they would take off on the grass with her
