Secret's Success
The run of success for Rangeview Stud Stallion So Secret has continued again this week after city victories with Steve Wolfe trained King Closet and also Nullaki getting up for trainer Alan Mathews.
Since Flying Roar and King Closet completed a Saturday city double at Belmont Park on the 13th June, So Secret has produced city wins from brothers Baraki Beats and Nullaki, and also the Danny Morton trained Rattlehead.
Jimmy Taylor, the trainer of Flying Roar, city winner Secret Nova and Baraki Beats, has also won with Sin Chao at Northam two weeks ago at the gelding's last start.
Rangeview will be hoping for the run to continue when flag bearer Hobart Jones makes a return to the track this Saturday. The 2014 Karrakatta Plate winner was set to continue his racing career in Hong Kong after a substantial offer had been accepted by the owners; but for reasons undisclosed, the deal fell through.
The recently relocated stud are set to be vindicated for their support of the young son of Danetime, and will offer at the 2016 Magic Millions yearling sales full relations to Hobart Jones, King Closet and Flying Roar. A three quarter brother-in-blood to Nullaki and Baraki Beats will also be entered, amongst others.
The 2015 Stud season is near approaching, and standing alongside So Secret is the highly credentialed son of Redoutes Choice in Group 2 winner Galah.
Galah served 75 mares in his first season at stud, and his first crop of foals will be arriving soon.
One of the best Colonially raced and bred Stallions to stand in WA, Galah looks set for a solid start to his breeding career with strong support from several leading breeders across the state.
Galah will stand for $5500 including GST, and So Secret for $3300 including GST for 2015.
