178 tipsters piled into the first week of Raceday and 21 races were formed.

Long term and active member Blacks A Fake bagged a massive 5 winners and two placegetters on the 9 event program, including the prized pick of Ultimate Success, netting $46 and taking a commanding early lead.

Elitist, Vandieman and Bfacey - a previous Group 1 winner - all scored over $30 with excellent performances, many benefiting from landing The Director in the final event of the day at good odds.

All round it was a good start by most competitors with 41 of 178 yielding a profit from their selections and no one recording the famous donut (no wins, no placings). FORCE did his best to achieve the feat managing just one placing in race one and then sitting out in the cold for the remainder of the meeting. Defending champion choc failed to place and is sitting 83rd overall.

Whilst it pays to have wins on the board early, the increased rating means all the winners will meet each other in races this week.
