Who am I?
My career ended in 2006, finishing with a 27% winning strikerate.
Despite my impressive career, it took 5 starts to win a race when piloted home by The Pontiff, Paul Harvey.
4 wins in 6 starts followed winning at both Ascot and Belmont. Peter Hall being the only other jockey to win on me during this time.
I marked my arrival as a top liner when decimating a field by 4 1/2 lengths at Belmont one August.
The next start would arguably be my best win, claiming a time honoured race, ridden for the first time by another senior jockey.
I raced without luck through the Summer carnival before a brave showing in the Railway Stakes.
I won my second Stakes race first-up following that run.
That would be my last win as I narrowly went down in my next two races.
