On paper it certainly looks as though Chocolate Holic and Pounamu will fight out the finish yet again and with a 1.5kg weight swing in favour of Pounamu that's the way I'll be tipping. The obvious concern with Pounamu is whether or not he still knows how to win because he has only saluted twice from 21 starts and always seems to have excuses. Last start ran a quicker final 600m than Chocolate Holic but was still unable to reel him in, could be a similar scenario here drawn outside him and likely to settle further back than the short and sweet favourite. Chocoalte Holic is exciting, no doubt about that, winner of 4 from 5 and looks as though he will keep getting better over further. They should streak away from the rest. Confusing looks as though he can run into a place if Jordan Turner can potentially settle outside stablemate and leader Right Honourable. Blackwood is a grinding type of 4 year old who looks as though she is screaming out for 2000m now and in my opinion doesn't have the same sharp turn of foot as Pounamu and Chocolate Holic.

That winner showed some speed. Thinking Jefferson will more than pay his way, especially if they get the right jock on.
